CVSS v3.1 |
| A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period. |
| Improper access control in the Babelfish for PostgreSQL extension versions 1.2-1.5, 2.1-2.15, 3.1-3.12, 4.0-4.8, 5.1-5.4 and in Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL with Babelfish may allow remote authenticated users to elevate their privileges. To remediate this issue, we recommend users upgrade to Babelfish for PostgreSQL extension versions 4.10, 5.6, 6.1 or later. Customers using Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL with Babelfish should upgrade their cluster to Aurora PostgreSQL 13.9.16 (1.5.5), 13.23.3 (1.17.2), 14.6.16 (2.3.5), 14.17.8 (2.12.4), 14.18.6 (2.13.3), 14.19.5 (2.14.2), 14.20.5 (2.15.2), 14.22.3 (2.16.1), 14.23.1 (2.17.0), 15.10.8 (3.8.4), 15.12.8 (3.9.4), 15.13.6 (3.10.3), 15.14.5 (3.11.2), 15.15.5 (3.12.2), 15.17.3 (3.13.1), 15.18.1 (3.14.0), 16.8.8 (4.5.5), 16.9.6 (4.6.3), 16.10.5 (4.7.2), 16.11.5 (4.8.2), 16.13.3 (4.9.1), 16.14.1 (4.10.0), 17.4.8 (5.1.4), 17.5.6 (5.2.3), 17.6.5 (5.3.2), 17.7.5 (5.4.2), 17.9.3 (5.5.1), 17.10.1 (5.6.0), 18.3.4 (6.0.2), 18.4.1 (6.1.0) or later, and apply any pending maintenance to ensure they are on the latest patch. |
| An out-of-bounds read in the TDS RPC procedure-name parser in the Babelfish for PostgreSQL extension versions 1.0-1.5, 2.1-2.15, 3.1-3.12, 4.0-4.8, 5.1-5.4 and in Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL with Babelfish might allow remote authenticated users to read adjacent process memory or cause a denial of service via a malformed TDS RPC request to the TDS port (default 1433).
To remediate this issue, we recommend users upgrade to Babelfish for PostgreSQL extension versions 4.10, 5.6, 6.1 or later. As a workaround, restrict network access to the TDS port (default 1433). |
| A heap-based buffer overflow in the TDS prelogin parser in the Babelfish for PostgreSQL extension versions 1.0-1.5, 2.1-2.15, 3.1-3.12, 4.0-4.8, 5.1-5.4 and in Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL with Babelfish might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands as the database process user via a specially crafted malformed TDS prelogin packet to the TDS port. This record consolidates a related NULL-pointer-dereference finding in the same prelogin parser.
To remediate this issue, we recommend users upgrade to Babelfish for PostgreSQL extension versions 4.10, 5.6, 6.1 or later. As a workaround, restrict network access to the TDS port (default 1433). |
| Improper neutralization of input used for LLM prompting in the environment tool in Strands Agents Tools before 0.8.6 might allow remote actors to obtain the agent host's environment variables in cleartext, including cloud credentials and API keys, via a crafted prompt that disables the tool's secret masking.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 0.8.6 or later and rotate any credentials that were present in the environment of agents that loaded the environment tool. |
| A flaw was found in OpenStack Glance. Remote authenticated users can exploit this vulnerability by requesting a cached image when the single-tenant Swift or S3 store is in use. This action causes the system to report the location field, which can lead to the disclosure of the operator's backend credentials. |
| A missing validation check in FreeRTOS-Plus-TCP's UDP/IPv6 packet processing code can lead to an invalid pointer dereference when receiving a UDP/IPv6 packet with an incorrect IP version field in the packet header. This issue only affects applications using IPv6.
We recommend upgrading to the latest version and ensure any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes. |
| A missing validation check in FreeRTOS-Plus-TCP's ICMPv6 packet processing code can lead to an out-of-bounds read when receiving ICMPv6 packets of certain message types which are smaller than the expected size. These issues only affect applications using IPv6.
Users should upgrade to the latest version and ensure any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes. |
| A missing validation check in FreeRTOS-Plus-TCP's IPv6 packet processing code can lead to an out-of-bounds read when receiving a IPv6 packet with incorrect payload lengths in the packet header. This issue only affects applications using IPv6.
We recommend users upgrade to the latest version and ensure any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes. |
| The Amazon Web Services (AWS) CloudFormation bootstrap tools package (aka aws-cfn-bootstrap) before 1.4-19.10 allows local users to execute arbitrary code with root privileges by leveraging the ability to create files in an unspecified directory. |
| Untrusted search path vulnerability in Amazon Kindle for PC before 1.19 allows local users to execute arbitrary code and conduct DLL hijacking attacks via a Trojan horse DLL in the current working directory of the Kindle Setup installer. |
| ActiveSetupN.exe in Amazon Audible for Windows before November 2017 allows attackers to execute arbitrary DLL code if ActiveSetupN.exe is launched from a directory where an attacker has already created a Trojan horse dwmapi.dll file. |
| Amazon Key through 2017-11-16 mishandles Cloud Cam 802.11 deauthentication frames during the delivery process, which makes it easier for (1) delivery drivers to freeze a camera and re-enter a house for unfilmed activities or (2) attackers to freeze a camera and enter a house if a delivery driver failed to ensure a locked door before leaving. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in the havok_write function in drivers/staging/havok/havok.c in Amazon Fire OS before 2016-01-15 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (panic) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a long string to /dev/hv. |
| The Amazon.com Kindle application before 4.5.0 for Android does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in ownCloud Server before 4.0.12 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via unspecified vectors related to "inclusion of the Amazon SDK testing suite." NOTE: due to lack of details, it is not clear whether the issue exists in ownCloud itself, or in Amazon SDK. |
| Codehaus XFire 1.2.6 and earlier, as used in the Amazon EC2 API Tools Java library and other products, does not verify that the server hostname matches a domain name in the subject's Common Name (CN) or subjectAltName field of the X.509 certificate, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof SSL servers via an arbitrary valid certificate. |
| The Amazon Lab126 com.lab126.system sendEvent implementation on the Kindle Touch before 5.1.2 allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in a string, as demonstrated by using lipc-set-prop to set an LIPC property, a different vulnerability than CVE-2012-4248. |
| Amazon Flexible Payments Service (FPS) PHP Library does not verify that the server hostname matches a domain name in the subject's Common Name (CN) or subjectAltName field of the X.509 certificate, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof SSL servers via an arbitrary valid certificate, related to misinterpretation of a certain "true" value. |
| Untrusted search path vulnerability in Amazon Kindle for PC 1.3.0 30884 allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse wintab32.dll file in the current working directory, as demonstrated by a directory that contains a .azw file. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information. |
