CVSS v3.1 |
| An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the OAuth2 TokenIntrospectionService in Apache CXF. Due to a missing 'throw' keyword in the security context check, the introspection endpoint (/services/oauth2/introspect) can be accessed by any unauthenticated network attacker. However note that this is a safeguard only in the case that someone forgot to enable authentication on the service. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.2.2 or 4.1.7 or 3.6.12, which fixes this issue. |
| Hirschmann HiOS and HiSecOS products RSP, RSPE, RSPS, RSPL, MSP, EES, EESX, GRS, OS, RED, EAGLE contain an authentication bypass vulnerability in the HTTP(S) management module that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to gain administrative access by crafting specially formed HTTP requests. Attackers can exploit improper authentication handling to obtain the authentication status and privileges of a previously authenticated user without providing valid credentials. |
| Improper authentication in Windows SMB Server allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| The optional ActiveMQ LDAP login module can be configured to use anonymous access to the LDAP server. In this case, for Apache ActiveMQ Artemis prior to version 2.16.0 and Apache ActiveMQ prior to versions 5.16.1 and 5.15.14, the anonymous context is used to verify a valid users password in error, resulting in no check on the password. |
| ARM mbed TLS before 1.3.21 and 2.x before 2.1.9, if optional authentication is configured, allows remote attackers to bypass peer authentication via an X.509 certificate chain with many intermediates. NOTE: although mbed TLS was formerly known as PolarSSL, the releases shipped with the PolarSSL name are not affected. |
| Improper Authentication vulnerability in Birtech Information Technologies Industry and Trade Ltd. Co. Senseway allows Authentication Abuse.
This issue affects Senseway: through 09022026.
NOTE: Because the product was developed using outdated technology, the manufacturer is unable to fix the relevant vulnerabilities. Users of the Sensaway application are advised to contact the manufacturer and review updated products developed with newer technology. |
| An authentication bypass by capture-replay issue was discovered in Schneider Electric Modicon Modbus Protocol. Sensitive information is transmitted in cleartext in the Modicon Modbus protocol, which may allow an attacker to replay the following commands: run, stop, upload, and download. |
| Rockwell Automation MicroLogix 1400 Controllers Series B v21.001 and prior, Series A, all versions, MicroLogix 1100 Controller, all versions, RSLogix 500 Software v12.001 and prior, A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a request from the RSLogix 500 software to the victim’s MicroLogix controller. The controller will then respond to the client with used password values to authenticate the user on the client-side. This method of authentication may allow an attacker to bypass authentication altogether, disclose sensitive information, or leak credentials. |
| The Web server password authentication mechanism used by the products is vulnerable to a MitM and Replay attack. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability will allow unauthorized access of the product’s Web server to view and alter product configuration and diagnostics information.
Rockwell Automation EtherNet/IP products; 1756-ENBT, 1756-EWEB, 1768-ENBT, and 1768-EWEB communication modules; CompactLogix L32E and L35E controllers; 1788-ENBT FLEXLogix adapter; 1794-AENTR FLEX I/O EtherNet/IP adapter; ControlLogix 18 and earlier; CompactLogix 18 and earlier; GuardLogix 18 and earlier; SoftLogix 18 and earlier; CompactLogix controllers 19 and earlier; SoftLogix controllers 19 and earlier; ControlLogix controllers 20 and earlier; GuardLogix controllers 20 and earlier; and MicroLogix 1100 and 1400 |
| The device does not properly authenticate users and the potential exists for a remote user to upload a new firmware image to the Ethernet card, whether it is a corrupt or legitimate firmware image. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could cause loss of availability, integrity, and confidentiality and a disruption in communications with other connected devices.

| Echelon SmartServer 1 all versions, SmartServer 2 all versions prior to release 4.11.007, i.LON 100 all versions, and i.LON 600 all versions. An attacker can bypass the required authentication specified in the security configuration file by including extra characters in the directory name when specifying the directory to be accessed. This vulnerability does not affect the i.LON 600 product. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in Siemens APOGEE PXC and TALON TC BACnet Automation Controllers in all versions <V3.5. An attacker with network access to the integrated web server (80/tcp and 443/tcp) could bypass the authentication and download sensitive information from the device. |
| An issue was discovered in Moxa NPort 5110 versions prior to 2.6, NPort 5130/5150 Series versions prior to 3.6, NPort 5200 Series versions prior to 2.8, NPort 5400 Series versions prior to 3.11, NPort 5600 Series versions prior to 3.7, NPort 5100A Series & NPort P5150A versions prior to 1.3, NPort 5200A Series versions prior to 1.3, NPort 5150AI-M12 Series versions prior to 1.2, NPort 5250AI-M12 Series versions prior to 1.2, NPort 5450AI-M12 Series versions prior to 1.2, NPort 5600-8-DT Series versions prior to 2.4, NPort 5600-8-DTL Series versions prior to 2.4, NPort 6x50 Series versions prior to 1.13.11, NPort IA5450A versions prior to v1.4. Firmware can be updated over the network without authentication, which may allow remote code execution. |

Administration passwords can be retried without authenticating. |
| Laravel Passport provides OAuth2 server support to Laravel. From 13.0.0 to before 13.7.1, there is an Authentication Bypass for client_credentials tokens. the league/oauth2-server library sets the JWT sub claim to the client identifier (since there's no user). The token guard then passes this value to retrieveById() without validating it's actually a user identifier, potentially resolving an unrelated real user. Any machine-to-machine token can inadvertently authenticate as an actual user. This vulnerability is fixed in 13.7.1. |
| The client in OpenSSH before 7.2 mishandles failed cookie generation for untrusted X11 forwarding and relies on the local X11 server for access-control decisions, which allows remote X11 clients to trigger a fallback and obtain trusted X11 forwarding privileges by leveraging configuration issues on this X11 server, as demonstrated by lack of the SECURITY extension on this X11 server. |
| The shared memory manager (associated with pre-authentication compression) in sshd in OpenSSH before 7.4 does not ensure that a bounds check is enforced by all compilers, which might allows local users to gain privileges by leveraging access to a sandboxed privilege-separation process, related to the m_zback and m_zlib data structures. |
| An issue was discovered in OpenSSH before 8.9. If a client is using public-key authentication with agent forwarding but without -oLogLevel=verbose, and an attacker has silently modified the server to support the None authentication option, then the user cannot determine whether FIDO authentication is going to confirm that the user wishes to connect to that server, or that the user wishes to allow that server to connect to a different server on the user's behalf. NOTE: the vendor's position is "this is not an authentication bypass, since nothing is being bypassed. |
| A CWE-287: Improper Authentication vulnerability exists in PowerLogic PM55xx, PowerLogic PM8ECC, PowerLogic EGX100 and PowerLogic EGX300 (see security notification for version infromation) that could cause loss of connectivity to the device via Modbus TCP protocol when an attacker sends a specially crafted HTTP request. |
| A Permissions, Privileges, and Access Control vulnerability exists in Schneider Electric's Modicon M221 product (all references, all versions prior to firmware V1.6.2.0). The vulnerability allows unauthorized users to overwrite the original password with their password. If an attacker exploits this vulnerability and overwrite the password, the attacker can upload the original program from the PLC. |
