| Quest Foglight for Databases EncryptionUtil Hardcoded Encyption Key Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Quest Foglight for Databases. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the symmetricDecrypt method. The issue results from the use of a hard-coded cryptographic key. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-29967. |
| A use of hard-coded cryptographic key vulnerability in Fortinet FortiClientEMS 7.4.3 through 7.4.5, FortiClientEMS 7.4.0 through 7.4.1 may allow attacker to information disclosure via decrypting database dump. |
| A use of hard-coded cryptographic key vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSandbox 5.2.0 through 5.2.1, FortiSandbox 5.0.0 through 5.0.6, FortiSandbox 4.4 all versions, FortiSandbox Cloud 5.0.4 through 5.0.6, FortiSandbox Cloud 5.0.0 through 5.0.2, FortiSandbox Cloud 4.4 all versions may allow attacker to escalation of privilege via specially crafted HTTP requests |
| Hard-coded Cryptographic Key vulnerability exists in the DLP on-prem extensions version 11.13.1 and earlier allows a remote attacker to decrypt credentials and evidence files. |
| OpenDeepWiki through 2.0.6 contains a hard-coded JWT signing key vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge administrator tokens using the publicly known Jwt:SecretKey in appsettings.json. Attackers can mint HS256 bearer tokens with an Admin role claim to access /api/admin endpoints and control users, roles, repositories, settings, and API keys. |
| Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Use of Hard-coded Cryptographic Key vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure. |
| Kener 3.0.0 before 4.1.10 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge session tokens by using the hardcoded DUMMY_SECRET fallback key. When KENER_SECRET_KEY is empty or unset, attackers knowing an administrator email can sign a kener-user cookie to access /manage/api with full administrative privileges or forge password-reset tokens. |
| Use of Hard-coded Cryptographic Key in JWT token authentication in Apache OFBiz 24.09.06 and 24.09.07 on all platforms allows an unauthenticated, network-reachable attacker to obtain full administrative access via a forged JWT signed with the factory-default security.token.key value that CVE-2026-31986 removed from newly generated configurations, on a deployment that upgraded from a release predating that fix while retaining its existing security.properties with security.internal.sso.enabled set to true. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.08. Upgrading alone does not replace an already-configured key: deployments that carried framework/security/config/security.properties forward from a release predating the CVE-2026-31986 fix must also run './gradlew rotateSecretKeys' after upgrading, since the existing generateSecretKeys task leaves an already-set value untouched. |
| A hard-coded cryptographic key vulnerability exists in the OnCell G3150A-LTE Series. Under certain conditions, an unauthenticated remote attacker could obtain shared cryptographic key material and use it to impersonate affected devices that have not regenerated their cryptographic keys, potentially compromising the confidentiality and integrity of management communications. |
| Dell OS Recovery tool versions, prior to 2.4.4, contain a use of Hard-coded Cryptographic Key vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with physical access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information Disclosure. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in OctoPrint 1.0.0/1.1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the component Flask Secret Key Handler. Such manipulation leads to use of hard-coded cryptographic key
. The attack may be performed from remote. Upgrading to version 1.11.1 is able to address this issue. The name of the patch is b4699825d6ab92d5451e5b1e3a06dfb81f86e777. The affected component should be upgraded. |
| An issue was discovered in Quest KACE Systems Deployment Appliance (SMA) 11.0.273. It uses a hardcoded symmetric encryption key to encrypt secrets in the MySQL databases. (This key is not unique for each installation.) An attacker that gains access to the MySQL server or a backup files can decrypt the secrets. Often, the decrypted secrets can be used to escalate privileges within KACE, or gain privileged access to unrelated systems or services. |
| Rockwell Automation MicroLogix 1400 Controllers Series B v21.001 and prior, Series A, all versions, MicroLogix 1100 Controller, all versions, RSLogix 500 Software v12.001 and prior, The cryptographic key utilized to help protect the account password is hard coded into the RSLogix 500 binary file. An attacker could identify cryptographic keys and use it for further cryptographic attacks that could ultimately lead to a remote attacker gaining unauthorized access to the controller. |
| Red Lion Controls Crimson, version 3.0 and prior and version 3.1 prior to release 3112.00, uses a hard-coded password to encrypt protected files in transit and at rest, which may allow an attacker to access configuration files. |
| Schneider Electric SoMachine Basic 1.4 SP1 and Schneider Electric Modicon TM221CE16R 1.3.3.3 devices have a hardcoded-key vulnerability. The Project Protection feature is used to prevent unauthorized users from opening an XML protected project file, by prompting the user for a password. This XML file is AES-CBC encrypted; however, the key used for encryption (SoMachineBasicSoMachineBasicSoMa) cannot be changed. After decrypting the XML file with this key, the user password can be found in the decrypted data. After reading the user password, the project can be opened and modified with the Schneider product. |
| Hirschmann HiLCOS devices OpenBAT, WLC, BAT300, BAT54 prior to 8.80 and OpenBAT prior to 9.10 are shipped with identical default SSH and SSL keys that cannot be changed, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to decrypt or intercept encrypted management communications. Attackers can perform man-in-the-middle attacks, impersonate devices, and expose sensitive information by leveraging the shared default cryptographic keys across multiple devices. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Yi Technology YI Home Camera 2 2.1.1_20171024151200. This affects an unknown function of the component WPA/WPS. Executing a manipulation can lead to use of hard-coded cryptographic key
