| CVE-2026-120956 | 1 Mongodb | 1 C Driver | 2026-11-03 | 7.1 High |
| The MongoDB C Driver does not validate the type or format of a namespace field returned by the server in a query response. A MongoDB endpoint that a client application connects to, without needing any credentials, can return a malformed value in that field. This causes the client application process to terminate, and can also cause the driver to read memory outside an allocated buffer and to send a small amount of the application's own uninitialized heap memory back to the endpoint in a follow-up command. The impact is limited to the process that embeds the driver. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103653 | 1 Qt | 2 Qt, Qtcoap | 2026-11-03 | 8.2 High |
| An out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Qt CoAP message parsing (QCoapInternalReply::createFromFrame()) of the Qt CoAP module. Processing a malformed CoAP message can cause an application using Qt CoAP to crash (loss of availability) or to continue operating on incorrect data (potential loss of integrity). | ||||
| CVE-2026-121505 | 1 Ntpsec | 1 Ntpsec | 2026-11-03 | 3.7 Low |
| An out-of-bounds read in the NTS-KE client response parser (nts_client_process_response_core) in NTPsec before 1.2.4 allows a malicious NTS-KE server to read the client's stack memory, including pointers that defeat ASLR, which the client then sends in cleartext as NTS cookies, via an NTS-KE record whose declared length exceeds the data received. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118782 | 1 Digitalbazaar | 1 Forge | 2026-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, node-forge accepted a PKCS#12 MAC or PKCS#12 password-based encryption iteration count of zero or less. pki.pbe.generatePkcs12Key() then returned a constant key independent of the password and salt, allowing crafted PKCS#12 input processed by forge.pkcs12.pkcs12FromAsn1() to bypass password-based integrity checks. Predictable encryption keys and IVs also affected PKCS#12 PBE using pbeWithSHAAnd3-KeyTripleDES-CBC or pbewithSHAAnd40BitRC2-CBC, including shrouded key bags, encrypted SafeContents, and PKCS#8 ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY input processed independently by forge.pki.decryptPrivateKeyInfo(). PBES2/PBKDF2-encrypted content is unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-120064 | 1 Postgresql | 1 Psqlodbc | 2026-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| Several psqlODBC entry points use an application-supplied column number or row index as an array index without validating it. SQLBindCol with a column number above 32767 wraps the binding count negative and a later copy runs off the array. A negative SQL_DESC_COUNT on an application row descriptor unbinds columns at negative indexes. SQLColAttribute with a very large column number uses a negative index. SQLSetPos(SQL_ADD) does not check the row number against the rowset size. An application that forwards untrusted column or row numbers exposes its process to out-of-bounds reads and writes. Versions before psqlODBC 18.00.0006 are affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-120060 | 1 Postgresql | 1 Psqlodbc | 2026-11-02 | 5.9 Medium |
| psqlODBC trusts counts and lengths in server data in three places. SQLBulkOperations uses a server-supplied row count in a size subtraction that can underflow. SQLStatistics iterates index keys using a server-supplied key count without bounding it to the fixed storage. Bytea octal decoding reads up to two bytes past the end of a truncated escape sequence. A server not trusted under current SSL settings can crash the client or make it read out of bounds. Versions before psqlODBC 18.00.0006 are affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-120063 | 1 Postgresql | 1 Psqlodbc | 2026-11-02 | 5.9 Medium |
| When psqlODBC quotes a schema or table name into a 128-byte stack buffer, its length check lets it write up to two bytes past the end of the buffer for a long name. The names come from the application's SQL text: the table of a statement the driver parses to describe its columns, and the target of the last INSERT when the driver rewrites SELECT @@IDENTITY. In the @@IDENTITY rewrite, a column name sent by the server can also write one byte past the buffer. The bytes written past the buffer are a double quote and a NUL. An application that forwards untrusted SQL text to the driver exposes its process to stack corruption. Versions before psqlODBC 18.00.0006 are affected. | ||||
| CVE-2019-9936 | 1 Sqlite | 1 Sqlite | 2026-11-02 | N/A |
| In SQLite 3.27.2, running fts5 prefix queries inside a transaction could trigger a heap-based buffer over-read in fts5HashEntrySort in sqlite3.c, which may lead to an information leak. This is related to ext/fts5/fts5_hash.c. | ||||
| CVE-2019-5439 | 1 Videolan | 1 Vlc Media Player | 2026-11-02 | N/A |
| A Buffer Overflow in VLC Media Player < 3.0.7 causes a crash which can possibly be further developed into a remote code execution exploit. | ||||
| CVE-2019-20454 | 4 Fedoraproject, Pcre, Redhat and 1 more | 4 Fedora, Pcre2, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-11-02 | 7.5 High |
| An out-of-bounds read was discovered in PCRE before 10.34 when the pattern \X is JIT compiled and used to match specially crafted subjects in non-UTF mode. Applications that use PCRE to parse untrusted input may be vulnerable to this flaw, which would allow an attacker to crash the application. The flaw occurs in do_extuni_no_utf in pcre2_jit_compile.c. | ||||
| CVE-2019-14776 | 2 Debian, Videolan | 2 Debian Linux, Vlc Media Player | 2026-11-02 | N/A |
| A heap-based buffer over-read exists in DemuxInit() in demux/asf/asf.c in VideoLAN VLC media player 3.0.7.1 via a crafted .mkv file. | ||||
| CVE-2019-14438 | 2 Debian, Videolan | 2 Debian Linux, Vlc Media Player | 2026-11-02 | N/A |
| A heap-based buffer over-read in xiph_PackHeaders() in modules/demux/xiph.h in VideoLAN VLC media player 3.0.7.1 allows remote attackers to trigger a heap-based buffer over-read via a crafted .ogg file. | ||||
| CVE-2019-14437 | 2 Debian, Videolan | 2 Debian Linux, Vlc Media Player | 2026-11-02 | N/A |
| The xiph_SplitHeaders function in modules/demux/xiph.h in VideoLAN VLC media player 3.0.7.1 does not check array bounds properly. As a result, a heap-based buffer over-read can be triggered via a crafted .ogg file. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109821 | 1 Elixir-lang | 1 Elixir | 2026-10-30 | 5.3 Medium |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in the Elixir standard library's URI module allows an attacker who supplies a URL to cause a denial of service through CPU exhaustion. URI.parse/1 converts the port component with String.to_integer/1 in split_authority/1 (lib/elixir/lib/uri.ex) without bounding its length, so a port of up to 1,262,592 decimal digits produces a bignum of that size and a longer one raises SystemLimitError. Rendering the parsed URI back to text (URI.to_string/1, inspect/1, logging, error formatting) converts the bignum with :erlang.integer_to_binary/1, which is quadratic on Erlang/OTP 27, 28 and 29.0: a 400,000-digit port renders in about 2.6 seconds and a 1 MB port in about 18 seconds. Ports above 65535 are also accepted. This issue affects elixir: from 0.5.0 before 1.18.6, from 1.19.0-rc.0 before 1.19.7, and from 1.20.0-rc.0 before 1.20.5. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115274 | 1 Elixir-lang | 1 Elixir | 2026-10-30 | 5.3 Medium |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in the Elixir standard library's JSON module allows an unauthenticated attacker who supplies a JSON document to cause a denial of service through CPU and memory exhaustion. JSON.decode/1 and JSON.decode!/1 convert each integer literal with erlang:binary_to_integer/1 and do not bound its length. A literal of one million digits decodes successfully but costs 100 to 300 times as much CPU as a string of the same length, so one request body of a few megabytes holds a scheduler for about a second. A literal of more than about 1.29 million digits raises SystemLimitError. Applications generated by phx.new decode request bodies with JSON in Plug.Parsers, before routing and authentication. This issue affects elixir: from 1.18.0-rc.0 before 1.18.6, from 1.19.0-rc.0 before 1.19.7, and from 1.20.0-rc.0 before 1.20.5. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9535 | 1 Vtk | 1 Vtk | 2026-10-30 | 8.2 High |
| A out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the vtkChacoReader InputGraph2 functionality of vtk (version(s): 9.6.1). A specially crafted chaco can lead to an out-of-bounds read. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119186 | 1 Digitalbazaar | 1 Forge | 2026-10-30 | 5.9 Medium |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, node-forge did not validate the AES-GCM tagLength option passed to start() during decryption through forge.cipher.createDecipher(). When an application derived tagLength from received data or used an unset or zero-like configuration value, a value that converted to zero together with an empty or missing authentication tag caused the calculated and supplied tags to compare as empty, so decipher.finish() accepted unauthenticated ciphertext. Applications that omit tagLength to use the 128-bit default or pass a fixed valid tag length are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63898 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: serial: mct_u232: fix memory corruption with small endpoint The driver overrides the maximum transfer size for a specific device which only accepts 16 byte packets for its 32 byte bulk-out endpoint. Make sure to never increase the maximum transfer size to prevent slab corruption should a malicious device report a smaller endpoint max packet size than expected. | ||||
