CVSS v3.1 |
| Botan is a C++ cryptography library. From 2.7.0 until 3.13.0, Botan's Scrypt implementation on 32-bit platforms computes required memory with unchecked multiplication, allowing attacker-controlled Scrypt parameters to wrap the allocation size and create a buffer smaller than the algorithm subsequently writes. The issue affects systems that enable Scrypt and accept arbitrary parameters from a hostile source, including applications that decrypt attacker-supplied encrypted private keys. A triggering parameter set can cause approximately four gigabytes of Scrypt output to be written past the allocated heap buffer, immediately crashing the process and causing denial of service. Arbitrary code execution is not demonstrated and appears difficult, but cannot be excluded from the overwrite primitive. This issue is fixed in version 3.13.0. |
| fast-agent is a framework for building, running, and evaluating AI agents with Model Context Protocol support. Prior to 0.7.21, fast-agent serve uses HTTP transport bound to 0.0.0.0 on port 8000 without authentication, allowing any network client that can reach the /mcp endpoint to invoke the exposed agent tool. When the server is started with --shell, the agent can call the local execute tool implemented by tools/local_shell_executor.py, so an unauthenticated remote client can cause operating-system commands to run as the server user; without --shell, the client can still consume the operator's model and configured MCP tools. The defaults are defined in cli/commands/serve.py and mcp/server/agent_server.py, and the non-interactive server permission prompt does not prevent the described access. This issue is fixed in version 0.7.21. |
| A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to cause a denial-of-service. |
| A flaw was found in Cockpit. An authenticated local user with a large user identifier (UID) can cause unauthorized modification and disclosure of login records. On 32-bit systems, an integer overflow during session accounting allows the user's login process to read or overwrite the legacy log entries of other accounts. |
| GeoNode is a geospatial content management system, a platform for the management and publication of geospatial data. Prior to 5.1.0, a crafted vector file layer name supplied during upload allows a low-privileged remote user to inject shell syntax and execute arbitrary operating-system commands on the GeoNode server. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.0. |
| On HP Poly EagleEye Cube USB 1.3.1-001267 devices, one of the API functions available on a management service accessible via USB allows command injection. This allows attackers (without administrator-level access) to execute arbitrary commands on the device as root. This is due to insufficient input validation that allows an attacker to control part of the CSR certificate generation process. This provides full root access that permits full control over device operations, unauthorized access to data, and the ability to place a persistent backdoor on the device (which could operate via the Ethernet port). |
| Remote Code Execution in the `IModular.exe` URI handler in INFINITT Healthcare Co., Ltd. INFINITT PACS allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to invoke unintended application functionality and potentially execute arbitrary code via a crafted `imodular:// URI` containing attacker-controlled command and argument parameters. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An attacker with control of a network file server may be able to cause unexpected system termination. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. Processing a maliciously crafted file may lead to unexpected app termination. |
| In JetBrains Toolbox App before 3.6.1 command injection was possible via enterprise configuration URLs |
| GROBID is machine learning software for extracting information from scholarly documents. Prior to 0.9.1, the Linux non-server PDF conversion path in grobid-core/src/main/java/org/grobid/core/document/DocumentSource.java passes an attacker-influenced PDF filename through DocumentSource.pdfalto, which interpolates the path into a bash -c command string. A single quote in the filename can terminate the intended quoting, and ProcessRunner.run in grobid-core/src/main/java/org/grobid/core/process/ProcessRunner.java starts the resulting command through ProcessBuilder, allowing arbitrary commands to execute with GROBID process privileges. The bundled REST server path is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.1. |
| An issue was discovered in MariaDB Server before 11.4.10, 11.5.x through 11.8.x before 11.8.6, and 12.x before 12.2.2. If the caching_sha2_password authentication plugin is installed, and some user accounts are configured to use it, a large packet can crash the server because sha256_crypt_r uses alloca. |
| OS command injection in the example SSM document provisioning script in Trusted Remote Execution (REX) before 2026-07-28 might allow an authenticated remote user who is permitted to invoke the Rex-RO or Rex-RW SSM document to execute arbitrary commands as root on the managed instance, bypassing Cedar policy enforcement.
To remediate this issue, users should delete any Rex-RO and Rex-RW SSM documents created from the example script, in each account and Region where it was run. |
| In JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2026.3,
2026.2.1 command injection was possible in untrusted projects via Tomcat run configurations on WSL |
| A flaw was found in popt, a command-line option parsing library. An off-by-one error in the poptStuffArgs function, when repeatedly called by a host application or through deep alias nesting, can lead to corruption of internal program data. This corruption could potentially enable a local attacker to execute arbitrary code if the host application then unsafely processes the altered data. |
| EDFbrowser before 2.16 contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in check_edf_file() that allows attackers to overflow the 256-element annot_ch array by supplying excessive annotation signals. Attackers can craft an EDF+ or BDF+ file with more than 256 annotation signals to overwrite edfhdrblock members, including the signal parameter pointer, crashing the application when opened. |
| A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server in the __aclp__normalize_acltxt() function of aclparse.c. A malformed ACI (Access Control Instruction) string can trigger heap-buffer-overflow writes and reads during ACI parsing. The function fails to validate that the ACI keyword has sufficient length after whitespace stripping, leading to a 1-byte out-of-bounds write and subsequent out-of-bounds reads. An authenticated user with write access to the aci attribute could send a crafted ACI value to silently corrupt heap memory in the directory server process. |
| Two off-by-one errors in the FreeIPA ipa-otpd daemon's OAuth2 device authorization handler can cause out-of-bounds memory access when processing an oversized response from a configured external OAuth2/OIDC Identity Provider. An attacker who controls or can man-in-the-middle the IdP endpoint may be able to trigger ipa-otpd to write or read one byte past the end of a fixed-size buffer. Exploitation requires FreeIPA to be configured with an external IdP, attacker control or MITM of that IdP, and a user to initiate the OAuth2 device authorization flow. The most likely impact is limited denial of service affecting the ipa-otpd daemon. |
| A flaw was found in Glib's content type parsing logic. This buffer underflow vulnerability occurs because the length of a header line is stored in a signed integer, which can lead to integer wraparound for very large inputs. This results in pointer underflow and out-of-bounds memory access. Exploitation requires a local user to install or process a specially crafted treemagic file, which can lead to local denial of service or application instability. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw involves an 'off-by-one' miscalculation when handling prefixes and suffixes for file names. This can lead to a 1-byte write overflow. While seemingly small, such an overflow can corrupt adjacent memory, leading to unpredictable program behavior, crashes, or in specific circumstances, could be leveraged as a building block for more sophisticated exploitation. This bug affects libarchive versions prior to 3.8.0. |
