CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm: Do not allow userspace to trigger kernel warnings in drm_gem_change_handle_ioctl()
Since GEM bo handles are u32 in the uapi and the internal implementation
uses idr_alloc() which uses int ranges, passing a new handle larger than
INT_MAX trivially triggers a kernel warning:
idr_alloc():
...
if (WARN_ON_ONCE(start < 0))
return -EINVAL;
...
Fix it by rejecting new handles above INT_MAX and at the same time make
the end limit calculation more obvious by moving into int domain. |
| Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains a denial-of-service vulnerability in the In and NotIn operators that allows attackers to crash the policy engine via an unchecked type assertion. Attackers can submit resources whose JMESPath-evaluated values yield arrays of integers, booleans, or mixed types, triggering a panic that disrupts admission control and policy enforcement. |
| A flaw was found in Keylime, a remote attestation solution, where strict type checking introduced in version 7.12.0 prevents the registrar from reading database entries created by previous versions, for example, 7.11.0. Specifically, older versions store agent registration data as bytes, whereas the updated registrar expects str. This issue leads to an exception when processing agent registration requests, causing the agent to fail. |
| [This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the
text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.]
A common access pattern is a batch of Grant Copy operations acting on
adjacent address ranges in the same source or destination page. For
performance reasons, Xen caches details internally to reuse already
validated data. The conditions on when to re-validate the internal data
were not correct in some cases:
- Frame numbers and grant references could wrongly be mixed up. This
is CVE-2026-102703.
- Copying by frame number (rather than grant reference) is permitted
only when operating on the caller's own memory. The check to enforce
this restriction was misplaced. This is CVE-2026-102704. |
| A weakness has been identified in spatie url-signer up to 2.1.3. Affected is the function AbstractUrlSigner::validate of the file AbstractUrlSigner.php of the component URL Validation. This manipulation of the argument expires causes incorrect type conversion. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 2.1.4 is able to address this issue. Patch name: 86af3355388210668f6bfbe9007bd6545d4942ad. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: fix resident conversion in ntfs_new_attr_flags
When setting sparse/compressed flags on a resident attribute, the
function skipped the resident-to-non-resident conversion and
terminated. |
| A vulnerability was found in phpMyAdmin SQL-Parser 6.0.0/6.0.1. The affected element is the function parse of the file src/Statements/ExplainStatement.php. Performing a manipulation of the argument nextToken results in incorrect type conversion. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Check sk_state before sk_protocol in bpf_tcp_*_syncookie
bpf_tcp_gen_syncookie and bpf_tcp_check_syncookie accept a socket pointer
'sk' with argument type ARG_PTR_TO_BTF_ID_SOCK_COMMON. However, they access
sk->sk_protocol without validating whether 'sk' represents a full socket.
Fix this issue by checking sk->sk_state != TCP_LISTEN before inspecting
sk->sk_protocol in both bpf_tcp_gen_syncookie and bpf_tcp_check_syncookie.
Since mini-sockets are never in the TCP_LISTEN state, the condition
short-circuits and prevents dereferencing fullsock-specific fields. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: nl80211: check link is beaconing for color change
When trying to do a color change, validate that the link is
beaconing first, to avoid calling the driver with an invalid
link. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: nVM: Ensure INVVPID is emulated on the correct physical CPU
When emulating INVVPID, KVM executes INVVPID on the physical CPU using
vpid02 (instead of the L1 assigned VPID), after doing some validations
on the operands. However, it is possible that the physical CPU KVM
executes INVVPID on is different from the CPU L2 is running on.
For example, in the following scenario:
- L2 runs on CPU #1 and exits to L1 (vmx->nested.vmcs02.cpu=1)
- L1 migrates to CPU #2 and executes INVVPID
- KVM executes INVVPID on CPU #2
- L1 migrates back to CPU #1 and runs L2 (vmx->nested.vmcs02.cpu=1)
The TLB entries on CPU #1 are never invalidated, because INVVPID was
executed on CPU #2, and vmcs02 never ran on a different pCPU (i.e.
vmx_vcpu_load_vmcs() will *not* request KVM_REQ_TLB_FLUSH).
Ensure that INVVPID is being executed on the same pCPU that L2 last ran
on, and if not, fallback to clearing last_vpid=0 to trigger a full VPID
flush on the next nested VM-Enter (as KVM will detect L1 using a
different VPID for L2). If L2 ends up running on a different pCPU, KVM
will flush the TLB anyway through vmx_vcpu_load_vmcs(). |
| The wordexp function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc) through 2.33 may crash or read arbitrary memory in parse_param (in posix/wordexp.c) when called with an untrusted, crafted pattern, potentially resulting in a denial of service or disclosure of information. This occurs because atoi was used but strtoul should have been used to ensure correct calculations. |
| A flaw was found in python. In algorithms with quadratic time complexity using non-binary bases, when using int("text"), a system could take 50ms to parse an int string with 100,000 digits and 5s for 1,000,000 digits (float, decimal, int.from_bytes(), and int() for binary bases 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 are not affected). The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. |
| An issue was discovered in the rand_core crate before 0.4.2 for Rust. Casting of byte slices to integer slices mishandles alignment constraints. |
| snd_ctl_elem_add in sound/core/control.c in the Linux kernel through 5.6.3 has a count=info->owner line, which later affects a private_size*count multiplication for unspecified "interesting side effects." NOTE: kernel engineers dispute this finding, because it could be relevant only if new callers were added that were unfamiliar with the misuse of the info->owner field to represent data unrelated to the "owner" concept. The existing callers, SNDRV_CTL_IOCTL_ELEM_ADD and SNDRV_CTL_IOCTL_ELEM_REPLACE, have been designed to misuse the info->owner field in a safe way |
| An authorized user may disable the MongoDB server by issuing a query against a collection that contains an invalid compound wildcard index. |
| Arcane Software’s Vermillion FTP Daemon (vftpd) versions up to and including 1.31 contains a memory corruption vulnerability triggered by a malformed FTP PORT command. The flaw arises from an out-of-bounds array access during input parsing, allowing an attacker to manipulate stack memory and potentially execute arbitrary code. Exploitation requires direct access to the FTP service and is constrained by a single execution attempt if the daemon is installed as a Windows service. |
| A vulnerability in register allocation in JavaScript can lead to type confusion, allowing for an arbitrary read and write. This leads to remote code execution inside the sandboxed content process when triggered. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.2.2 and Firefox < 62.0.3. |
| The package nanoid from 3.0.0 and before 3.1.31 are vulnerable to Information Exposure via the valueOf() function which allows to reproduce the last id generated. |
| A type confusion vulnerability exists in the handling of the string addition (+) operation within the QuickJS engine.
* The code first checks if the left-hand operand is a string.
* It then attempts to convert the right-hand operand to a primitive value using JS_ToPrimitiveFree. This conversion can trigger a callback (e.g., toString or valueOf).
* During this callback, an attacker can modify the type of the left-hand operand in memory, changing it from a string to a different type (e.g., an object or an array).
* The code then proceeds to call JS_ConcatStringInPlace, which still treats the modified left-hand value as a string.
This mismatch between the assumed type (string) and the actual type allows an attacker to control the data structure being processed by the concatenation logic, resulting in a type confusion condition. This can lead to out-of-bounds memory access, potentially resulting in memory corruption and arbitrary code execution in the context of the QuickJS runtime. |
| This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader 8.3.2.25013. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the clearItems XFA method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a type confusion condition. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-5288. |
