| CVE-2026-110985 | 1 Apache | 1 Kafka | 2026-11-05 | 9.1 Critical |
| A Kafka broker using SASL/OAUTHBEARER with the default validator (sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class=DefaultJwtValidator) selects its implementation from configuration. When sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url is set, the validator verifies the JWT signature. When that URL is unset (the default) and no verification key resolver is supplied, DefaultJwtValidator silently falls back to ClientJwtValidator, which does not verify the JWT signature, algorithm, or issuer - and the broker starts with no warning or error. This is the residual of CVE-2026-33557, whose fix restored signature verification only on the path where the JWKS endpoint URL is set. Impact: A broker in this state accepts any structurally valid JWT, including "alg":"none" tokens. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach the listener can forge a token asserting any principal - including configured superusers - and gain full access to the cluster. Only brokers that enable SASL/OAUTHBEARER validation without a JWKS endpoint URL (and without a custom verification key resolver) are affected; brokers that set the URL verify signatures and are not affected. Unlike CVE-2026-110952 (issuer/audience not enforced by default), here no signature is verified at all. Mitigation (all affected versions, no upgrade required): Set sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url for every listener/mechanism that uses OAuthBearerValidatorCallbackHandler, or configure a signature-verifying sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class. Resolution: From Apache Kafka 4.2.2, 4.3.1, and 4.4.0: a broker that would fall back to the non-verifying ClientJwtValidator fails to start with a ConfigException instead of running without signature verification (secure by default). | ||||
| CVE-2026-102280 | 1 Sandboxie-plus | 1 Sandboxie | 2026-11-05 | N/A |
| Sandboxie-Plus is an open source sandbox-based isolation software for Windows. Prior to 1.18.6, a process inside a sandbox could send MSGID_FILE_SET_ATTRIBUTES or MSGID_FILE_SET_SHORT_NAME to SbieSvc and cause the SYSTEM service to open and modify an existing file outside the sandbox. The direct primitive changes file attributes, timestamps, writeability, or 8.3 short names; a short-name redirection can additionally contribute to SYSTEM code execution when a privileged process resolves an attacker-controlled short-name path in a location SbieSvc can open. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.18.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109408 | 2026-11-05 | 7.4 High | ||
| vault-java-driver, a Java client for HashiCorp Vault, silently disables TLS certificate and hostname verification in three states where the caller asked for verification: an SslConfig passed to VaultConfig without calling build(), an SslConfig restored by Java deserialization, and VAULT_SSL_VERIFY set to a truthy value other than "true", such as 1, yes or on. In each case SslConfig.isVerify() returns false and the driver installs a trust-all SSLContext. An attacker on the network path to the Vault server can then read the Vault token and secrets in transit and forge responses. This issue affects io.github.jopenlibs:vault-java-driver 5.2.0 through 6.2.3. It is fixed in 7.0.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108142 | 1 Veeam | 1 Backup And Replication | 2026-11-04 | N/A |
| A vulnerability allowing an unauthenticated attacker to bypass authorization on the CDP Coordinator Service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-70452 | 2 Rsync Project, Samba | 2 Rsync, Rsync | 2026-08-14 | 7.4 High |
| rsync 3.1.0 before 3.5.0 contains an access control bypass vulnerability that allows remote attackers to circumvent hosts deny rules by inducing DNS resolution failures during hostname-based access control evaluation. When a DNS lookup for a hostname-based deny rule fails, the daemon skips the rule rather than defaulting to a deny decision, enabling attackers who can trigger DNS failures to bypass module-level IP access controls and gain unauthorized access to restricted module file trees. | ||||
| CVE-2014-3566 | 11 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 8 more | 28 Mac Os X, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more | 2026-05-28 | 3.4 Low |
| The SSL protocol 3.0, as used in OpenSSL through 1.0.1i and other products, uses nondeterministic CBC padding, which makes it easier for man-in-the-middle attackers to obtain cleartext data via a padding-oracle attack, aka the "POODLE" issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-35205 | 1 Helm | 1 Helm | 2026-04-17 | 7.8 High |
| Helm is a package manager for Charts for Kubernetes. From 4.0.0 to 4.1.3, Helm will install plugins missing provenance (.prov file) when signature verification is required. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.1.4. | ||||
| CVE-2025-54870 | 2 Leakingmemory, Rust-lang | 2 Vtun-ng, Vtun-ng | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| VTun-ng is a Virtual Tunnel over TCP/IP network. In versions 3.0.17 and below, failure to initialize encryption modules might cause reversion to plaintext due to insufficient error handling. The bug was first introduced in VTun-ng version 3.0.12. This is fixed in version 3.0.18. To workaround this issue, avoid blowfish-256. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3614 | 1 Lenovo | 42 100e 2nd Gen, 100e 2nd Gen Firmware, 300e 2nd Gen and 39 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.4 Medium |
| A vulnerability was reported on some Lenovo Notebook systems that could allow an attacker with physical access to elevate privileges under certain conditions during a BIOS update performed by Lenovo Vantage. | ||||
| CVE-2021-1578 | 1 Cisco | 2 Application Policy Infrastructure Controller, Cloud Application Policy Infrastructure Controller | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
| A vulnerability in an API endpoint of Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) and Cisco Cloud Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (Cloud APIC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to elevate privileges to Administrator on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to an improper policy default setting. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using a non-privileged credential for Cisco ACI Multi-Site Orchestrator (MSO) to send a specific API request to a managed Cisco APIC or Cloud APIC device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain Administrator credentials on the affected device. | ||||
| CVE-2020-16125 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 2 Gnome Display Manager, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 7.2 High |
| gdm3 versions before 3.36.2 or 3.38.2 would start gnome-initial-setup if gdm3 can't contact the accountservice service via dbus in a timely manner; on Ubuntu (and potentially derivatives) this could be be chained with an additional issue that could allow a local user to create a new privileged account. | ||||
