| CVE-2026-112907 | 1 Tox-dev | 1 Filelock | 2026-11-06 | 2.5 Low |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.22.0 until 4.2.1, soft lock classes on Windows read an existing marker with _read_lock_file and remove a stale marker through break_lock_file using pathname operations that wait for an oplock break. Another local account with read access to an unheld marker can keep a Level 1 or batch oplock unanswered, causing SoftFileLock.acquire and related async or fallback locks to wait beyond timeout, blocking=False, and cancel_check. A stale marker under the oplock cannot be broken, but mutual exclusion remains intact and no file other than the marker is accessed. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112913 | 1 Tox-dev | 1 Filelock | 2026-11-05 | 3.3 Low |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.20.4 until 4.2.1, ReadWriteLock and AsyncReadWriteLock on Windows use _connect to attach SQLite to the lock database by pathname, allowing another local account that can create adjacent names to place a database-wal or database-journal side file before acquisition. An undeletable WAL file makes each read or write acquisition fail immediately with sqlite3.OperationalError regardless of timeout. Separately, when the database contains at least one table, a hot journal that grants the lock account modify rights can cause SQLite recovery to delete a file named by that journal only when the lock account has permission to delete the target. The issue requires a directory writable by another account, such as a shared Windows temporary directory, and does not affect private directories. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. | ||||
| CVE-2019-18269 | 1 Omron | 2 Plc Cj Firmware, Plc Cs Firmware | 2026-06-02 | 8.6 High |
| Omron’s CS and CJ series PLCs have an unrestricted externally accessible lock vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-25612 | 1 Mongodb | 1 Mongodb | 2026-04-17 | 6.5 Medium |
| The internal locking mechanism of the MongoDB server uses an internal encoding of the resources in order to choose what lock to take. Collections may inadvertently collide with one another in this representation causing unavailability between them due to conflicting locks. | ||||
| CVE-2019-11485 | 2 Apport Project, Canonical | 2 Apport, Ubuntu Linux | 2024-11-21 | 3.3 Low |
| Sander Bos discovered Apport's lock file was in a world-writable directory which allowed all users to prevent crash handling. | ||||
