| Memory Corruption via Uncanceled AIO Requests on Error: libkcapi's one-shot AIO path can return an error before all submitted IOCBs are drained, allowing later kernel writes into caller-owned output buffers. |
| In parseMetaData of StagefrightMetadataRetriever.cpp, there is a possible denial of service due to a stack buffer overflow. This could lead to remote denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In oapvd_vlc_metadata of oapv_vlc.c, there is a possible memory corruption due to a double free. This could lead to remote escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xen-blkback: Avoid UAF when reading I/O statistics
Reading I/O statistics via sysfs concurrently with tearing down a
frontend device might result in UAF or a NULL dereference, as the
reading of the statistics data is not synchronized with freeing the
data.
Use a rwlock for synchronizing.
This is XSA-528 / CVE-2026-100082 |
| Pixar Animation Studio OpenUSD Crate File Parsing Double Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Pixar Animation Studio OpenUSD. Interaction with this library is required to exploit this vulnerability but attack vectors may vary depending on the implementation.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of USDC and USDZ files. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing further free operations on the object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-30428. |
| In the Samsung GPU driver, improper reference count handling during command submission can lead to memory corruption. |
| In the Samsung Exynos GPU driver, improper synchronization during buffer object creation and closing can lead to memory corruption |
| A double free vulnerability in NPU driver due to improper pointer management (941) |
| A double free vulnerability in NPU driver due to improper pointer management (940) |
| Out of bound access in PPC due to race condition in global variable access |
| A double-free vulnerability was found in handling vmw_buffer_object objects in the vmwgfx driver in the Linux kernel. This issue occurs due to the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing further free operations on the object, which may allow a local privileged user to escalate privileges and execute code in the context of the kernel. |
| A race condition vulnerability was found in the vmwgfx driver in the Linux kernel. The flaw exists within the handling of GEM objects. The issue results from improper locking when performing operations on an object. This flaw allows a local privileged user to disclose information in the context of the kernel. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xen-netback: Fix UAF when reading statistics data
The network statistic data in the driver is protected by RCU.
Unfortunately when tearing down the queues after an error during
connecting to the frontend (e.g. due to illegal Xenstore data filled
in by the guest), the statistic data is being freed without
synchronizing the RCU state. In case the data is being read via sysfs
in this phase, access to already freed memory or memory being in new
use is possible.
Fix that by calling synchronize_net() before freeing the queue data.
This is XSA-526 / CVE-2026-100080 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xen-netback: defer xenvif_mcast_addr_list_free()
In order for the function to legitimately avoid locking/RCU, it needs to
run after all TX/RX processing has finished/stopped: Lookups happen from
xenvif_start_xmit(), while adds/removes happen from xenvif_tx_action()
(called out of xenvif_poll()).
Move the call out of xenvif_disconnect_data() (the call to the function
from connect()'s error path doesn't require any cleaning up there), and
put it past the synchronization point in backend_disconnect().
This is XSA-527 / CVE-2026-100081. |
| CivetWeb through 1.16, when built with USE_HTTP2 and enable_http2 on, contains a use-after-free vulnerability in handle_http2() that retains freed :method and :path pointers. Unauthenticated remote attackers can send a later HEADERS frame omitting these pseudo-headers to influence request method or path seen by access rules, or crash the server. |
| The vulnerability is a Use-After-Free (UAF) in the EVS AIDL HAL, arising from a data race on an unsynchronized `std::weak_ptr` within `EvsEnumerator::openCamera()`. Specifically, concurrent calls from a privileged UID (e.g., `AID_AUTOMOTIVE_EVS`) can cause a torn `weak_ptr` state, leading to a virtual call through a freed object's vtable at `cameraObj->getCameraInfo(&desc)`. This allows for potential arbitrary code execution within the `hal_evs_default` process. |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. An attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) or potential information disclosure due to a use-after-free vulnerability, which occurs when a program reads memory that has already been released. This issue arises when the archive_entry_copy_mac_metadata() function deallocates an internal buffer before completing a data copy. An attacker who can supply input to an application utilizing this function can trigger the flaw to crash the application or read uninitialized memory data. |
| A vulnerability was found in libssh, where an uninitialized variable exists under certain conditions in the privatekey_from_file() function. This flaw can be triggered if the file specified by the filename doesn't exist and may lead to possible signing failures or heap corruption. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring/waitid: own the request before clearing ->head
io_waitid_remove_wq() only takes the wait queue lock if ->head is set.
io_waitid_wait() clears ->head first thing, before it tries to become the
owner of the request by bumping ->refs. If somebody else owns the request
at that point, nothing keeps it from completing the request while the
wake up handler is still going to touch it:
CPU0 (io_waitid_wait) CPU1 (io_waitid, holds a ref)
list_del_init(&wait->entry)
smp_store_release(&iw->head, NULL)
__do_wait() finds another child
io_waitid_remove_wq()
// ->head == NULL, no locking
io_waitid_finish(), IOU_COMPLETE
// request freed and reused
atomic_fetch_inc(&iw->refs)
The same goes for __io_waitid_cancel() if it claims the request in that
window. ->refs is part of the per opcode data of the request, so this
increments whatever the next user of the request keeps there. If that
happens to be zero, the handler concludes that it owns the request, and
queues io_waitid_cb() for it. With the window held open by a delay, and
the request reused for a receive that is waiting for data:

tctx_task_work_run+0x327/0x950
Only clear ->head once the handler owns the request. If it doesn't, the
owner finds ->head set and has to wait for the lock, which is held by the
caller of the handler. Deleting the already deleted entry again is
harmless. |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSL's handling of the properties argument in certain functions. This vulnerability can allow use-after-free exploitation, which may result in undefined behavior or incorrect property parsing, leading to OpenSSL treating the input as an empty string. |
