CVSS v3.1 |
| JSON-java is a reference implementation of a JSON package in Java. From version 20150729 through 20260522, JSONTokener.nextSimpleValue can accumulate unbounded numeric tokens before JSONObject.stringToNumber passes them to BigInteger or BigDecimal conversion without a length limit. An application that parses attacker-controlled JSON or XML through JSONObject, JSONArray, or XML.toJSONObject can spend super-linear CPU time converting a sufficiently long numeric literal, blocking request-handling threads and causing denial of service. Strict mode and keep-strings settings in JSONParserConfiguration do not prevent the affected conversion path. Version 20260719 limits numeric conversion length. |
| Issue summary: Some non-default TLS server configurations can cause unbounded
memory growth when processing TLSv1.3 sessions
Impact summary: An attacker may exploit certain server configurations to trigger
unbounded memory growth that would lead to a Denial of Service
This problem can occur in TLSv1.3 if the non-default SSL_OP_NO_TICKET option is
being used (but not if early_data support is also configured and the default
anti-replay protection is in use). In this case, under certain conditions, the
session cache can get into an incorrect state and it will fail to flush properly
as it fills. The session cache will continue to grow in an unbounded manner. A
malicious client could deliberately create the scenario for this failure to
force a Denial of Service. It may also happen by accident in normal operation.
This issue only affects TLS servers supporting TLSv1.3. It does not affect TLS
clients.
The FIPS modules in 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue. OpenSSL
1.0.2 is also not affected by this issue. |
| OpenKruise kruise-manager exposes an unauthenticated pprof endpoint, enabled by default, opening it on 0.0.0.0:8090, which can enable a DoS attack triggerable by any pod on the cluster network. |
| Vulnerability in Drupal CacheFlush. This issue affects CacheFlush versions: *.*. |
| In ShortcutInfo of ShortcutInfo.java, there is a possible way to crash the launcher via unauthorized shortcuts due to resource exhaustion. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| GROBID is machine learning software for extracting information from scholarly documents. Prior to 0.9.1, the unauthenticated /api/modelTraining endpoint calls GrobidRestProcessTraining.trainModel in GrobidRestProcessTraining.java, where each request creates Executors.newFixedThreadPool(1), submits a training task, and leaves the executor running. Repeated requests permanently retain JVM worker threads and can exhaust process or operating-system thread capacity, degrading or stopping request processing. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.1. |
| A flaw was found in the theme resource endpoint of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The issue occurs because the server fails to validate theme names before using them as keys for an on-disk gzip cache. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending many requests with unique, fabricated theme names, leading to persistent disk space exhaustion that survives server restarts and causes service disruptions. |
| A flaw was found in the libxml2 library. This uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability occurs when processing XML catalogs that contain repeated <nextCatalog> elements pointing to the same downstream catalog. A remote attacker can exploit this by supplying crafted catalogs, causing the parser to redundantly traverse catalog chains. This leads to excessive CPU consumption and degrades application availability, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. |
| Nuxt Content is the file-based CMS for Nuxt applications, powered by Markdown and Vue components. From 3.0.0 until 3.15.2, the unauthenticated POST /__nuxt_content/:collection/query endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled sql field in src/runtime/api/query.post.ts and permits expensive SQLite expressions. Version 3.0.0 performed no query validation; in affected releases using assertSafeQuery in src/runtime/internal/security.ts, the reported validation gap rejects a short list of SQL command keywords in WHERE clauses but permits function calls including randomblob(), zeroblob(), hex(), and length(). The query reaches the synchronous better-sqlite3 sink in src/runtime/internal/database.server.ts, allowing a single remote request to consume substantial CPU and memory while blocking the Node.js event loop and all concurrent request handling. Fully static prerendered deployments that do not expose the server endpoint are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 3.15.2. |
| A flaw was found in the SAML implementation of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The SAML Artifact Resolution and ECP SOAP endpoints do not properly limit the size or complexity of incoming XML requests. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending specially crafted, large XML messages that cause the server to consume excessive memory. This leads to the application running out of memory and crashing, resulting in a denial of service for all users. |
| A flaw was found in the SAML XML processing component of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when the server parses XML documents containing excessively long dateTime or duration values. Because these strings are not properly validated before processing, the XML parser consumes excessive CPU time. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending specially crafted SAML requests to the server, leading to high CPU utilization and a denial of service for all users. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in chenyme grok2api up to 3.1.6. Affected by this vulnerability is the function proxyVoiceWebSocket of the file backend/internal/transport/http/inference/voice_ws_handler.go of the component WebSocket Proxy. The manipulation results in resource consumption. The attack may be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 3.1.7 addresses this issue. The patch is identified as 7ad0f791f0a9eb5a0ddfe38ac4dfcef01e19a6d4. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring: don't flood a cancelling task with task_work
io_ring_exit_work() asks each task which has used the ring to remove its
tctx node, by task_work, and repeats that until the list is empty.
io_tctx_exit_cb() doesn't touch the node while the task is in
io_uring_cancel_generic(), which removes all the nodes at its end. So the
work item queues the callback again as soon as it has completed, for
nothing.
That is more than a waste of time. task_work_run() only returns when it
finds the list empty. If the rings are released from inside the
cancellation, because requests of other rings held the last references to
their files, up to 64 work items keep sending callbacks to the one task
which is running them. It never finds the list empty, never gets back to
the cancellation, the nodes stay, and so it goes on: a task with 60 pairs
of rings which poll each other ran 280000 callbacks in 5 seconds, 20
seconds after exit_group(). It ends when all the senders happen to be late
at the same time. Until then the task keeps a CPU and the work items busy.
An exiting task can't be killed meanwhile. execve() cancels the requests in
the same way, so a live task can get stuck there as well, for minutes. If
it takes more than five, the work items run into the
WARN_ON_ONCE(time_after(jiffies, timeout)) of io_ring_exit_work(). No
privilege is needed for any of this.
If the callback has met a task in cancellation, wait a little before it is
sent again. Nobody has to wake the work item up for that: either the node
is gone by then, or it is the turn of the next round. |
| Regexp2 is a feature-rich RegExp engine for Go. Prior to version 2.3.0, when regexp2 compiles and matches a pattern containing a large fixed-count quantifier applied to a zero-width subexpression — e.g. (?:){50000000} — the match engine executes the empty loop body m-1 times, pushing two integers onto the backtracking stack on every iteration. Because the parser accepts any repetition count up to math.MaxInt32 and the backtracking stack grows without bound, a pattern of fewer than 20 bytes matched against an empty input can force multi-gigabyte allocation and OOM-kill the process. MatchTimeout does not fully mitigate this because the memory is allocated faster than the 100 ms timeout clock can fire. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.0. |
| SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway before 15.1.1 processes and writes v1 file-interface upload data before authenticating the caller and without an absolute request-size limit. An unauthenticated remote attacker can occupy workers and consume temporary storage with concurrent or slow requests, causing service unavailability. |
| In getPreferredSize of LauncherProcessImageListener.kt, there is a possible denial of service due to resource exhaustion. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In onHeaderDecoded of LocalImageResolver.java, there is a possible persistent denial of service due to resource exhaustion. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| ESP-Protocols is a collection of protocol components for ESP-IDF. Prior to mDNS version 1.11.2, the `mdns` component follows DNS name-compression pointers recursively when parsing fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) in inbound mDNS packets without capping pointer-follow depth in `mdns_utils_read_fqdn()`. An unauthenticated attacker on the same link-local network can send a crafted packet to UDP port 5353 on an `ESP-IDF` device using `espressif/mdns` with mDNS enabled. Deep recursion exhausts the fixed-size stack of the mDNS FreeRTOS task, causing a controlled panic and reboot; persistent malicious traffic can cause a crash loop. No confidentiality or integrity impact has been demonstrated, and remote code execution is not claimed. This issue is fixed in mDNS version 1.11.2. |
| A vulnerability has been found in laspy up to 2.7.0. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file laspy/lasreader.py of the component LAS File Handler. The manipulation leads to uncontrolled memory allocation. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. |
| A flaw was found in PostgreSQL involving the pg_cancel_backend role that signals background workers, including the logical replication launcher, autovacuum workers, and the autovacuum launcher. Successful exploitation requires a non-core extension with a less-resilient background worker and would affect that specific background worker only. This issue may allow a remote high privileged user to launch a denial of service (DoS) attack. |
