CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
platform/x86: dell-wmi-sysman: Don't hex dump plaintext password data
set_new_password() hex dumps the entire buffer, which contains plaintext
password data, including current and new passwords. Remove the hex dump
to avoid leaking credentials. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: Don't log plaintext credentials in cifs_set_cifscreds
When debug logging is enabled, cifs_set_cifscreds() logs the key
payload and exposes the plaintext username and password. Remove the
debug log to avoid exposing credentials. |
| Credentials are stored in plain text in an SQLite database and in the MatchPoint Android app's SharedPreferences. An attacker with access to the device's local data or a backup could retrieve usernames and passwords and use them to gain unauthorized access to accounts on the platform. |
| A user with read access to Grafana's server logs, or to a log store they are shipped to, can recover the OAuth and OIDC access, refresh and ID tokens of users who sign in through the Generic OAuth, Google or GitLab providers. Grafana writes these tokens to its logs unredacted when an access or ID token is not a valid JWT, when the ID token is missing (at debug level) or is not a string (exposure of sensitive information in log files). The exposure is bounded by the scopes granted to the configured OAuth client. |
| GUnet OpenEclass 1.7.3 stores user credentials in plaintext, allowing administrators to view all registered users' usernames and passwords without encryption. This vulnerability exposes sensitive information and increases the risk of credential theft and unauthorized access. |
| Heatmiser Wifi Thermostat 1.7 contains a credential disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve administrative credentials by accessing the networkSetup.htm page. Attackers can request the networkSetup.htm endpoint and extract plaintext username and password values from HTML form fields to gain administrative access to the thermostat. |
| Echelon SmartServer 1 all versions, SmartServer 2 all versions prior to release 4.11.007, i.LON 100 all versions, and i.LON 600 all versions. The devices store passwords in plaintext, which may allow an attacker with access to the configuration file to log into the SmartServer web user interface. |
| OpenPLC_V3 is vulnerable to a Plaintext Storage of a Password vulnerability that could allow an attacker to retrieve credentials and access sensitive information. |
| Beward Intercom 2.3.1 contains a credentials disclosure vulnerability that allows local attackers to access plain-text authentication credentials stored in an unencrypted database file. Attackers can read the BEWARD.INTERCOM.FDB file to extract usernames and passwords, enabling unauthorized access to IP cameras and door stations. |
| Smart Parking Management System from Honding Technology has an Exposure of Sensitive Information vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to access a specific page and obtain plaintext administrator credentials. |
| Plaintext password storage in Kotaemon 0.11.0 in the client's localStorage. |
| IBM Sterling B2B Integrator 6.2.0.0 through 6.2.0.5, and 6.2.1.0 and IBM Sterling File Gateway 6.2.0.0 through 6.2.0.5, and 6.2.1.0 stores user credentials in configuration files which can be read by a local user. |
| A vulnerability was found in Intelbras InControl up to 2.21.59. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is an unknown function of the component Dispositivos Edição Page. The manipulation of the argument Senha de Comunicação leads to unprotected storage of credentials. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. According to the vendor this issue should be fixed in a later release. |
| Jenkins S3 Explorer Plugin 1.0.8 and earlier does not mask the AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY form field, increasing the potential for attackers to observe and capture it. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in QMS Automotive (All versions < V12.39), QMS Automotive (All versions < V12.39). User credentials are stored in plaintext in the database without any hashing mechanism. This could allow an attacker to gain access to credentials and impersonate other users. |
| An issue was discovered in SMA Solar Technology products. Sniffed passwords from SMAdata2+ communication can be decrypted very easily. The passwords are "encrypted" using a very simple encryption algorithm. This enables an attacker to find the plaintext passwords and authenticate to the device. NOTE: the vendor reports that only Sunny Boy TLST-21 and TL-21 and Sunny Tripower TL-10 and TL-30 could potentially be affected |
| A Plaintext Storage of a Password issue was discovered in Moxa OnCell G3110-HSPA Version 1.3 build 15082117 and previous versions, OnCell G3110-HSDPA Version 1.2 Build 09123015 and previous versions, OnCell G3150-HSDPA Version 1.4 Build 11051315 and previous versions, OnCell 5104-HSDPA, OnCell 5104-HSPA, and OnCell 5004-HSPA. The application's configuration file contains parameters that represent passwords in plaintext. |
| Rockwell Automation ISaGRAF Runtime Versions 4.x and 5.x stores the password in plaintext in a file that is in the same directory as the executable file. ISaGRAF Runtime reads the file and saves the data in a variable without any additional modification. A local, unauthenticated attacker could compromise the user passwords, resulting in information disclosure. |
| An attacker with physical access to the host can extract the secrets from the registry and create valid JWT tokens for the Fresenius Kabi Vigilant MasterMed version 2.0.1.3 application and impersonate arbitrary users. An attacker could manipulate RabbitMQ queues and messages by impersonating users. |
| The programming protocol allows for a previously entered password and lock state to be read by an attacker. If the previously entered password was successful, the attacker can then use the password to unlock Automation Direct CLICK PLC CPU Modules: C0-1x CPUs with firmware prior to v3.00. |
