| CVE-2026-119155 | 2 Tomdever, Wordpress-extensions | 2 Wpforo Forum, Wpforo Forum | 2026-11-07 | 7.5 High |
| The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'href[locale]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The nonce required for exploitation is publicly issued to unauthenticated visitors on any forum page via the wpforo.nonces JavaScript object, meaning no account or prior interaction beyond a page load is required to obtain it. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119164 | 2 Tomdever, Wordpress-extensions | 2 Wpforo Forum, Wpforo Forum | 2026-11-07 | 7.5 High |
| The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 via the `data[secondary_groupids]` parameter of the `wpforo_action_profile_update` POST handler. This is due to a type-confusion flaw in the secondary_groupids authorization guard within the `Members::update()` function in `classes/Members.php`, where casting a scalar CSV string (e.g. `"0,1"`) with `(array)` before `array_map('intval', …)` and `array_filter()` produces an empty array — causing the guard's outer conditional, and the else-branch that would otherwise strip the field from the update, to be bypassed entirely — while `encode()`/`decode()` downstream correctly explodes the original CSV and persists the attacker-supplied group IDs to `wp_wpforo_profiles.secondary_groupids`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to escalate their forum privileges to wpForo Administrator by injecting the privileged Admin group ID, granting access to the Forum Accesses editor and the ability to rewrite forum-wide capability policies for all members and edit arbitrary content owned by other users. Exploitation requires the attacker to have at least 3 approved wpForo posts to satisfy the plugin's default `min_number_posts_to_edit_account` antispam gate, along with a valid wpforo nonce obtained from their own account profile form. | ||||
| CVE-2026-120532 | 2 Tomdever, Wordpress-extensions | 2 Wpforo Forum, Wpforo Forum | 2026-11-07 | 6.4 Medium |
| The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'post[body]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. | ||||
| CVE-2026-110004 | 2 Tomdever, Wordpress-extensions | 2 Wpforo Forum, Wpforo Forum | 2026-11-07 | 6.5 Medium |
| The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the theme_delete function in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This exploit chain is reachable only on sites where an administrator has created a custom wpForo secondary usergroup with a blank WordPress role and the 'mth' (Manage Themes) capability; on such sites, an attacker can self-register and claim that group via the unguarded wpforo_secondary_groupids[] POST field, bypassing the role-based group filter and gaining theme-management access as a Subscriber. | ||||
