CVSS v3.1 |
MediaWiki before 1.17.1 does not check for read permission before handling action=ajax requests, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by (1) leveraging the SpecialUpload::ajaxGetExistsWarning function, or by (2) leveraging an extension, as demonstrated by the CategoryTree, ExtTab, and InlineEditor extensions.
plymouth-pretrigger.sh in dracut and udev, when running on Fedora 13 and 14, sets weak permissions for the /dev/systty device file, which allows remote authenticated users to read terminal data from tty0 for local users.
The system has a vulnerability that may cause dynamic hiding and restoring of app icons.Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may cause malicious hiding of app icons.
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Hitachi Tuning Manager on Linux (Hitachi Tuning Manager server, Hitachi Tuning Manager - Agent for RAID, Hitachi Tuning Manager - Agent for NAS, Hitachi Tuning Manager - Agent for SAN Switch components) allows local users to read and write specific files. This issue affects Hitachi Tuning Manager: before 8.8.5-00.

An issue in ttyd v.1.6.3 allows attacker to execute arbitrary code via default configuration permissions.
Permissions vulnerability in LIZHIFAKA v.2.2.0 allows authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands via the set password function in the admin/index/email location.
In Moodle, insufficient capability checks meant message deletions were not limited to the current user.
In Moodle, insufficient capability checks made it possible to remove other users' calendar URL subscriptions.
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Hitachi Automation Director on Linux, Hitachi Infrastructure Analytics Advisor on Linux (Hitachi Infrastructure Analytics Advisor, Analytics probe server components), Hitachi Ops Center Automator on Linux, Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer on Linux (Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer, Analyzer probe server components), Hitachi Ops Center Viewpoint on Linux (Viewpoint RAID Agent component) allows local users to read and write specific files.
This issue affects Hitachi Automation Director:
from 8.2.0-00 through 10.6.1-00; Hitachi Infrastructure Analytics Advisor: from 2.0.0-00 through 4.0.0-00; Hitachi Ops Center Automator: before 10.9.1-00; Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer: before 10.9.1-00; Hitachi Ops Center Viewpoint: before 10.9.1-00.

Versions of Apache DolphinScheduler prior to 1.3.2 allowed an ordinary user under any tenant to override another users password through the API interface.
Snowflake JDBC provides a JDBC type 4 driver that supports core functionality, allowing Java program to connect to Snowflake. Snowflake discovered and remediated a vulnerability in the Snowflake JDBC Driver. On Linux systems, when temporary credential caching is enabled, the Snowflake JDBC Driver will cache temporary credentials locally in a world-readable file. This vulnerability affects versions 3.6.8 through 3.21.0. Snowflake fixed the issue in version 3.22.0.
A sandboxing issue in Odoo Community 15.0 and earlier and Odoo Enterprise 15.0 and earlier allows authenticated administrators to read and write local files on the server.
snowflake-connector-net is the Snowflake Connector for .NET. Snowflake discovered and remediated a vulnerability in the Snowflake Connector for .NET in which files downloaded from stages are temporarily placed in a world-readable local directory, making them accessible to unauthorized users on the same machine. This vulnerability affects versions 2.0.12 through 4.2.0 on Linux and macOS. Snowflake fixed the issue in version 4.3.0.
The Snowflake Connector for Python provides an interface for developing Python applications that can connect to Snowflake and perform all standard operations. Snowflake discovered and remediated a vulnerability in the Snowflake Connector for Python. On Linux systems, when temporary credential caching is enabled, the Snowflake Connector for Python will cache temporary credentials locally in a world-readable file. This vulnerability affects versions 2.3.7 through 3.13.0. Snowflake fixed the issue in version 3.13.1.
Nix through 2.3 allows local users to gain access to an arbitrary user's account because the parent directory of the user-profile directories is world writable.
Incorrect default permissions vulnerability in synouser.conf in Synology Diskstation Manager (DSM) before 6.2-23739-1 allows remote authenticated users to obtain sensitive information via the world readable configuration.
A vulnerability was found in Samba from version (including) 4.9 to versions before 4.9.6 and 4.10.2. During the creation of a new Samba AD DC, files are created in a private subdirectory of the install location. This directory is typically mode 0700, that is owner (root) only access. However in some upgraded installations it will have other permissions, such as 0755, because this was the default before Samba 4.8. Within this directory, files are created with mode 0666, which is world-writable, including a sample krb5.conf, and the list of DNS names and servicePrincipalName values to update.
In OSUInfo of OSUInfo.java, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In the read() function of ProcessStats.java, there is a possible read/write serialization issue leading to a permissions bypass. This could lead to local escalation of privilege where an app can start an activity with system privileges with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In createFromParcel of MediaCas.java, there is a possible parcel read/write mismatch due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege where an app can start an activity with system privileges with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
