CVSS v3.1 |
Botan is a C++ cryptography library. Prior to 3.13.0, Botan's X.509 Distinguished Name decoder flattens the Attribute-Value Assertions in each Relative Distinguished Name and loses multi-value RDN grouping before DN name-constraint enforcement. An attacker controlling a name-constrained intermediate CA can issue a certificate with a multi-value RDN whose first Common Name matches the permitted constraint and whose second Common Name is attacker-chosen, causing the constraint check to accept the flattened first value. If the certificate contains no subjectAlternativeName extension, the second Common Name can then be accepted as a hostname; Botan does not fall back to Common Name hostname matching when any subjectAlternativeName is present. The exposure is limited to deployments using DN name constraints, which are uncommon outside internal PKIs, and to certificates without a subjectAlternativeName. This issue is fixed in version 3.13.0.
Urwid is a console user interface library for Python. Prior to 4.0.7, handle_short_request() in urwid/display/web.py performs unguarded character encoding on POST input and unguarded UTF-8 decoding on polling update socket output. A remote attacker who obtains a valid X-Urwid-ID session token can submit non-ASCII POST data that raises UnicodeEncodeError, while non-UTF-8 polling output raises UnicodeDecodeError, causing the CGI handler to return an error and terminate request processing. The POST exception path also leaves an opened file descriptor unclosed for the CGI process lifetime, so repeated requests can cause denial of service for the web display interface. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.7.
A flaw was found in the virtio-net device in QEMU. When enabling the RSS feature on the virtio-net network card, the indirections_table data within RSS becomes controllable. Setting excessively large values may cause an index out-of-bounds issue, potentially resulting in heap overflow access. This flaw allows a privileged user in the guest to crash the QEMU process on the host.
| Issue summary: An application trying to decrypt CMS messages encrypted using
password based encryption can trigger an out-of-bounds read and write.
Impact summary: This out-of-bounds read may trigger a crash which leads to
Denial of Service for an application. The out-of-bounds write can cause
a memory corruption which can have various consequences including
a Denial of Service or Execution of attacker-supplied code.
Although the consequences of a successful exploit of this vulnerability
could be severe, the probability that the attacker would be able to
perform it is low. Besides, password based (PWRI) encryption support in CMS
messages is very rarely used. For that reason the issue was assessed as
Moderate severity according to our Security Policy.
The FIPS modules in 3.5, 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 are not affected by this
issue, as the CMS implementation is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module
boundary. |
In parseMetaData of StagefrightMetadataRetriever.cpp, there is a possible denial of service due to a stack buffer overflow. This could lead to remote denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A pre-authentication heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the SonicOS TACACS+ authentication client, which in specific conditions could potentially enable a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause an application level denial of service.
A pre-authentication stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the SonicOS TACACS+ authentication client, which in specific conditions could potentially enable a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause an application level denial of service.
In _mupdf_get_hdr of wprint_mupdf.c, there is a possible out-of-bounds read due to an integer overflow. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to cause a denial-of-service.
An integer underflow vulnerability in the NAS decoder of OpenAirInterface (OAI) CN5G AMF v2.2.1 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) via crafted NAS Registration Requests containing a truncated SUCI in the 5GS Mobile Identity IE. Insufficient length validation in the DecodeSuci() function results in an out-of-bounds heap read, causing the AMF process to crash.
In l2c_fcr_process_peer_cfg_req of l2c_fcr.cc, there is a possible memory safety issue due to an integer overflow. This could lead to remote information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A pre-authentication heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the SonicOS SSL-VPN service, which could potentially enable a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause an application level denial of service.
JupyterLab Desktop is the cross-platform desktop application for JupyterLab. Prior to 4.6.2-1, remote-server URLs were inserted into the server-selection dialog and Welcome view without safe encoding. An attacker who convinces a user to submit a crafted URL can execute JavaScript in the Welcome renderer and abuse its privileged IPC bridge to execute arbitrary code with the user’s privileges. The Welcome view also unsafely renders RSS news-feed titles; exploitation through this separate input path requires control over content delivered through the application’s Jupyter Blog feed or its cached feed data, rather than submission of a remote-server URL. This issue affects all supported platforms and is fixed in version 4.6.2-1.
Lavish is the new editor for your HTML artifacts. Prior to 0.1.43, the lavish-axi loopback HTTP server did not authenticate requests or validate Host and Origin values on session, artifact, prompt, and polling routes. A website visited while the server is running can use DNS rebinding to send same-origin browser requests to the local service. POST /api/sessions accepts a caller-selected file path and returns its deterministic session key; GET /artifact/:key/index.html then returns the file contents, allowing disclosure of any file readable by the server process without an existing session. An attacker can also queue text through POST /api/:key/prompts for an active agent session when the artifact path is known or guessed. Visiting the attacker-controlled website is the required user interaction. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.1.43.
An integer overflow condition in the AMD Compressonator SDK could allow an attacker with local access to supply a specially crafted DirectDraw Surface (DDS) file, potentially resulting in denial of service (DoS).
A heap-based out-of-bounds (OOB) read vulnerability in the AMD Compressonator SDK could allow an attacker with local access to read out-of-bounds heap memory, potentially resulting in information disclosure or application crash.
An out-of-bounds read condition in the AMD Compressonator SDK could allow an attacker with local access to supply a specially crafted Truevision Advanced Raster Graphics Adapter (TGA) file to a user or an automated pipeline, potentially resulting in disclosure of sensitive heap memory contents or denial of service.
An integer overflow in the DDS RGB888 loader of AMD Compressonator SDK could allow an attacker to supply a crafted DDS file that causes an undersized heap allocation and a subsequent out-of-bounds read, potentially resulting in process termination or limited disclosure of heap memory.
Canop dysk before 3.8.2 contains a terminal escape sequence injection vulnerability that allows local users to inject control sequences by crafting mount metadata rendered unsanitized in table and CSV output. Attackers can create FUSE mounts with ESC/OSC sequences in mount-point names or fsname, causing spoofed or hidden output and window-title changes when another user runs dysk.
NVIDIA Slurm contains an attacker-controlled heap-based buffer overflow in the slurmstepd process while the slurmstepd is running with root permissions.
