A buffer overread in CheckKeySyms() in X.Org X Server before 21.1.25 and XWayland before 24.1.14 could be used by authenticated X clients to leak small amounts of information from X server memory or potentially crash the X server.
A security vulnerability has been detected in Hangzhou Xiongmai Technology P2PAPI.dll 1.3.3.32 on Windows. Affected by this issue is the function P2PAPI_Connect of the component P2P SDK. Such manipulation of the argument input as part of String leads to buffer overflow. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server in the Git service (babeld). When proving possession of a host key, babeld's SSH implementation sized the session identifier by the current digest length rather than its own. An attacker with an account and SSH access could re-key to an algorithm with a longer hash, causing adjacent process memory to be signed and returned to the client, where a limited amount of it may be recoverable. This vulnerability affected all releases prior to 3.23 and was fixed in versions 3.22.3, 3.21.8, 3.20.10, and 3.19.14. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.
| NoMachine nxwebrunner Heap-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of NoMachine. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the web service, which listens on TCP port 4443 by default. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the service account. Was ZDI-CAN-30685. |
An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination.
An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, visionOS 27.2. Processing a maliciously crafted image may result in disclosure of process memory.
A remote code execution vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server in the Git service (babeld). babeld held references into internal collections while calling into the SSH library, where a re-entrant callback could modify a collection and invalidate those references. An attacker with an account and SSH access to the instance could leverage this use-after-free into a controlled write and run arbitrary commands as babeld, including disclosure of its environment secrets. Exploitation required per-build memory offsets; failed attempts crashed babeld. This affected all releases prior to 3.23 and was fixed in 3.22.3, 3.21.8, 3.20.10, and 3.19.14. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.
A Stack Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the DHCP client in Juniper Networks Session Smart Router allows an unauthenticated attacker on the local network to achieve remote code execution via a malicious DHCP reply.
Joomla Extension - icagenda.com - CSV formula injection in the registrations export in iCagenda 3.5.0 to 4.0.16
A flaw was found in OpenSSH. This vulnerability, a heap out-of-bounds read, occurs during the cleanup of GSSAPI (Generic Security Service Application Programming Interface) indicators when a trailing NULL termination is missing in the auth-indicators array. A remote attacker, under specific configurations involving GSSAPI authentication and a Kerberos environment, could exploit this to cause the SSH authentication path to crash or abort. This leads to a denial of service (DoS), impacting the availability of the SSH service.
An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination or read kernel memory.
A flaw was found in libsoup, a library used by applications to send network requests. This vulnerability occurs because libsoup does not properly validate hostnames, allowing special characters to be injected into HTTP headers. A remote attacker could exploit this to perform HTTP smuggling, where they can send hidden, malicious requests alongside legitimate ones. In certain situations, this could lead to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), enabling an attacker to force the server to make unauthorized requests to other internal or external systems. The impact is low, as SoupServer is not actually used in internet infrastructure.
FastNetMon is a high-performance DDoS detector and sensor. In version 1.2.9 and earlier, parse_raw_packet_to_simple_packet_full() in src/simple_packet_parser_ng.cpp dereferences ipv6_extension_header_fragment_t when IpProtocolNumberIPV6_FRAG is present without first verifying that the eight-byte Fragment header remains. A crafted sFlow v5 RAW_PACKET_HEADER record can remotely reach this shared parser with the Fragment bytes omitted, causing an unauthenticated remote out-of-bounds read. The supplied harness detects the read under AddressSanitizer, but the advisory does not establish a production process crash. No fixed release is available as of this review.
A vulnerability was detected in libyal libvmdk. Affected by this vulnerability is the function libvmdk_descriptor_file_read_header of the file libvmdk/libvmdk_descriptor_file.c of the component Descriptor File Parser. The manipulation results in out-of-bounds read. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit is now public and may be used. The patch is identified as 175d3fc0a0b961f362f16e7560a6169d7213e16b. It is best practice to apply a patch to resolve this issue.
An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination.
The `/api/v1/admin` route group did not enforce the `public-only` restriction of personal access tokens. A public-only token with admin scope issued by a site administrator could therefore list private organizations and the email addresses of all users, create organizations, obtain runner registration tokens and create new site administrator accounts, the last of which persists after the token is revoked. Tokens of users who are not site administrators cannot reach these routes; public-only tokens are now rejected on the admin API.
A flaw was identified in libsoup, a widely used HTTP library in GNOME-based systems. When processing specially crafted HTTP Range headers, the library may improperly validate requested byte ranges. In certain build configurations, this could allow a remote attacker to access portions of server memory beyond the intended response. Exploitation requires a vulnerable configuration and access to a server using the embedded SoupServer component.
A flaw was found in dhcp-server. A remote attacker with network access to the OMAPI (Open Management Application Programming Interface) port, especially if not secured with TSIG (Transaction Signature) key authentication, could send a specially crafted lease creation request. This request, containing an overly long InfiniBand MAC address, triggers a buffer overflow in the `print_hw_addr()` function. Successful exploitation leads to a persistent denial of service (DoS), causing the `dhcpd` service to crash and preventing it from restarting without manual intervention.
A flaw was found in gdk-pixbuf. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a heap out-of-bounds read by providing a specially crafted Apple Icon Image (.icns) file. The uncompress() function, which handles RLE-encoded ICNS icon data, fails to validate the source buffer's boundaries during decompression. This can lead to a denial of service, where the application crashes, or to information disclosure, potentially revealing sensitive data from adjacent memory.
A flaw was found in GStreamer's gst-plugins-good. A heap-based out-of-bounds read of 4 bytes can occur when parsing FLAC audio stream headers embedded in a Matroska or WebM container file. The vulnerability is triggered by a boundary check that does not account for the full size of the data being copied, allowing a small read past the end of the allocated buffer. An attacker could exploit this by crafting a malicious Matroska or WebM file and tricking a user into opening it, potentially leaking a small amount of adjacent heap memory.
