CVSS v3.1 |
| easy-pdf-merge 0.1.0 through 0.2.6 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute commands by injecting shell metacharacters into source paths, destination path, or maxHeap option. Attackers can supply file names or options containing double quotes, semicolons, $() or backticks, which child_process.exec() runs through a shell with the Node.js process privileges. |
| cbor-sync through 1.0.4 contains a resource exhaustion vulnerability in CBOR.decode that trusts declared array and map lengths without checking remaining input. Remote attackers can supply a tiny crafted CBOR payload declaring huge lengths to drive billions of iterations, exhausting CPU and process memory. |
| In NTFS-3G before 2026.7.7, a heap buffer overflow exists in ntfs_ib_copy_tail(), in libntfs-3g/index.c, that allows an attacker to corrupt heap memory in the SUID-root ntfs-3g binary by crafting a malicious NTFS image. The overflow is triggered by extending a directory, e.g., by creating a file. |
| vim is vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow |
| Lodash versions prior to 4.17.21 are vulnerable to Command Injection via the template function. |
| The vgacon subsystem in the Linux kernel before 5.8.10 mishandles software scrollback. There is a vgacon_scrolldelta out-of-bounds read, aka CID-973c096f6a85. |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel in versions before 5.9-rc6. When changing screen size, an out-of-bounds memory write can occur leading to memory corruption or a denial of service. Due to the nature of the flaw, privilege escalation cannot be fully ruled out. |
| Out of bounds write in the firmware for some Intel(R) Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable denial of service via local access. |
| An issue was discovered in GNU libiberty, as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.32. simple_object_elf_match in simple-object-elf.c does not check for a zero shstrndx value, leading to an integer overflow and resultant heap-based buffer overflow. |
| Python 2.7.14 is vulnerable to a Heap-Buffer-Overflow as well as a Heap-Use-After-Free. Python versions prior to 2.7.14 may also be vulnerable and it appears that Python 2.7.17 and prior may also be vulnerable however this has not been confirmed. The vulnerability lies when multiply threads are handling large amounts of data. In both cases there is essentially a race condition that occurs. For the Heap-Buffer-Overflow, Thread 2 is creating the size for a buffer, but Thread1 is already writing to the buffer without knowing how much to write. So when a large amount of data is being processed, it is very easy to cause memory corruption using a Heap-Buffer-Overflow. As for the Use-After-Free, Thread3->Malloc->Thread1->Free's->Thread2-Re-uses-Free'd Memory. The PSRT has stated that this is not a security vulnerability due to the fact that the attacker must be able to run code, however in some situations, such as function as a service, this vulnerability can potentially be used by an attacker to violate a trust boundary, as such the DWF feels this issue deserves a CVE. |
| Xstream API versions up to 1.4.6 and version 1.4.10, if the security framework has not been initialized, may allow a remote attacker to run arbitrary shell commands by manipulating the processed input stream when unmarshaling XML or any supported format. e.g. JSON. |
| XStream is a Java library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In XStream before version 1.4.16, there is a vulnerability which may allow a remote attacker who has sufficient rights to execute commands of the host only by manipulating the processed input stream. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. If you rely on XStream's default blacklist of the Security Framework, you will have to use at least version 1.4.16. |
| XStream is a Java library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In XStream before version 1.4.15, is vulnerable to an Arbitrary File Deletion on the local host when unmarshalling. The vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to delete arbitrary know files on the host as log as the executing process has sufficient rights only by manipulating the processed input stream. If you rely on XStream's default blacklist of the Security Framework, you will have to use at least version 1.4.15. The reported vulnerability does not exist running Java 15 or higher. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's Security Framework with a whitelist! Anyone relying on XStream's default blacklist can immediately switch to a whilelist for the allowed types to avoid the vulnerability. Users of XStream 1.4.14 or below who still want to use XStream default blacklist can use a workaround described in more detailed in the referenced advisories. |
| XStream before version 1.4.14 is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution.The vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to run arbitrary shell commands only by manipulating the processed input stream. Only users who rely on blocklists are affected. Anyone using XStream's Security Framework allowlist is not affected. The linked advisory provides code workarounds for users who cannot upgrade. The issue is fixed in version 1.4.14. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ufs: validate cylinder group metadata before caching it
ufs_read_cylinder() copies the cylinder group index and the rotor
positions straight from the on-disk group and caches them without any
check:
ucpi->c_cgx = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_cgx);
ucpi->c_rotor = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_rotor);
ucpi->c_frotor = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_frotor);
ucpi->c_irotor = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_irotor);
They are then used as indices during allocation and free:
- c_cgx indexes the cylinder summary array as
UFS_SB(sb)->fs_cs(ucpi->c_cgx), so a value past s_ncg writes a 32
bit count outside the s_csp allocation.
- c_frotor becomes a bitmap scan start, start = c_frotor >> 3, and
then length = ((s_fpg + 7) >> 3) - start. A start beyond the block
bitmap wraps the unsigned length to a huge value, so ubh_scanc()
walks far past the cylinder group buffers. c_irotor drives the
inode bitmap the same way.
A crafted image can set any of these freely, turning an ordinary
allocation into an out of bounds access.
Reject a cylinder group whose recorded index does not match the group
being read, or whose rotors fall outside the group, before the metadata
is cached. Valid filesystems keep cg_cgx equal to the group number and
the rotors within the group, so only malformed images are rejected. |
| A memory calculation bug in mod_dav in Apache httpd 2.4.67 and earlier allows an attacker with permission to create WebDAV locks to crash server child processes.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.69, which fixes this issue |
| UltraVNC Launcher 1.2.2.4 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Path vncviewer.exe property field that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying an excessively long string. Attackers can input a 300-byte payload of repeated characters through the Properties dialog to trigger a denial of service condition. |
| Crashmail 1.6 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending malicious input to the application. Attackers can craft payloads with ROP chains to achieve code execution in the application context, with failed attempts potentially causing denial of service. |
| A command injection vulnerability was discovered on the Zyxel EMG2926 home router with firmware V1.00(AAQT.4)b8. The vulnerability is located in the diagnostic tools, specifically the nslookup function. A malicious user may exploit numerous vectors to execute arbitrary commands on the router, such as the ping_ip parameter to the expert/maintenance/diagnostic/nslookup URI. |
| RustDesk's Windows clipboard redirection copies a peer-supplied length into a fixed-size caller buffer without an upper bound check. When an OLE paste consumer such as explorer.exe calls IStream::Read with a buffer of cb bytes, CliprdrStream_Read in libs/clipboard/src/windows/wf_cliprdr.c requests that many bytes of a remote file through cliprdr_send_request_filecontents and then executes CopyMemory(pv, clipboard->req_fdata, clipboard->req_fsize), where req_fsize is taken verbatim from the peer's CLIPRDR FileContentsResponse by wf_cliprdr_server_file_contents_response (req_fsize = fileContentsResponse->cbRequested) and is never clamped to cb anywhere in the chain. The function's only length comparison, req_fsize < cb, handles the short-read case and is evaluated after the copy has already occurred. A malicious or compromised peer that answers a small file-contents read with an oversized response therefore writes attacker-chosen data past the end of the paste consumer's heap buffer when the local user pastes clipboard file contents offered by the remote side. The file is a fork of FreeRDP's client/Windows/wf_cliprdr.c, where the same defect is CVE-2026-68579, fixed in FreeRDP 3.30.0. |
