CVSS v3.1 |
| Improper serialization of internal state in the authorization subsystem in MongoDB Server's authorization subsystem permits a user with valid credentials to bypass IP whitelisting protection mechanisms following administrative action. This issue affects MongoDB Server v4.2 versions prior to 4.2.3; MongoDB Server v4.0 versions prior to 4.0.15; MongoDB Server v4.3 versions prior to 4.3.3and MongoDB Server v3.6 versions prior to 3.6.18. |
| <p>An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists in the way Azure Functions validate access keys.</p>
<p>An unauthenticated attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could invoke an HTTP Function without proper authorization.</p>
<p>This security update addresses the vulnerability by correctly validating access keys used to access HTTP Functions.</p> |
| A security feature bypass vulnerability exists when Microsoft browsers improperly handle requests of different origins. The vulnerability allows Microsoft browsers to bypass Same-Origin Policy (SOP) restrictions, and to allow requests that should otherwise be ignored. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could force the browser to send data that would otherwise be restricted.
In a web-based attack scenario, an attacker could host a specially crafted website that is designed to exploit the vulnerability through Microsoft browsers and then convince a user to view the website. The attacker could also take advantage of compromised websites, and websites that accept or host user-provided content or advertisements. These websites could contain specially crafted content that could exploit the vulnerability.
The security update addresses the vulnerability by modifying how affected Microsoft browsers handle different-origin requests. |
| Microhard Systems IPn4G 1.1.0 contains an undocumented vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to list and manipulate running system processes. Attackers can send arbitrary signals to kill background processes and system services through a hidden feature, potentially causing service disruption and requiring device restart. |
| An Improper Access Control in the SFTP service in Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT prior to version 7.9.0 allows Web Users with an Authentication Alias and a valid SSH key but limited to Password authentication for SFTP to still login using their SSH key. |
| An issue was discovered in rymcu forest thru commit f782e85 (2025-09-04) in function doBefore in file src/main/java/com/rymcu/forest/core/service/security/AuthorshipAspect.java, allowing authorized attackers to delete arbitrary users posts. |
| In OpenSSH 7.9, scp.c in the scp client allows remote SSH servers to bypass intended access restrictions via the filename of . or an empty filename. The impact is modifying the permissions of the target directory on the client side. |
| Frappe Learning Management System (LMS) is a learning system that helps users structure their content. Prior to 2.41.0, a flaw in the server-side authorization logic allowed authenticated users to perform actions beyond their assigned roles across multiple features. Because the affected endpoints relied on client-side or UI-level checks instead of enforcing permissions on the server, users with low-privileged roles (such as students) could perform operations intended only for instructors or administrators via directly using the API's. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.41.0. |
| When a page's content security policy (CSP) header contains a "sandbox" directive, other directives are ignored. This results in the incorrect enforcement of CSP. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.3, Firefox ESR < 52.3, and Firefox < 55. |
| WebExtensions bundled with embedded experiments were not correctly checked for proper authorization. This allowed a malicious WebExtension to gain full browser permissions. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.1 and Firefox < 61. |
| Moodle failed to verify enrolment status correctly when sending quiz notifications. As a result, suspended or inactive users might receive quiz-related messages, leaking limited course information. |
| It was found that polkit could be tricked into bypassing the credential checks for D-Bus requests, elevating the privileges of the requestor to the root user. This flaw could be used by an unprivileged local attacker to, for example, create a new local administrator. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability. |
| Bluetooth Mesh Provisioning in the Bluetooth Mesh profile 1.0 and 1.0.1 may permit a nearby device, reflecting the authentication evidence from a Provisioner, to complete authentication without possessing the AuthValue, and potentially acquire a NetKey and AppKey. |
| Bluetooth Mesh Provisioning in the Bluetooth Mesh profile 1.0 and 1.0.1 may permit a nearby device (participating in the provisioning protocol) to identify the AuthValue used given the Provisioner’s public key, and the confirmation number and nonce provided by the provisioning device. This could permit a device without the AuthValue to complete provisioning without brute-forcing the AuthValue. |
| Bluetooth legacy BR/EDR PIN code pairing in Bluetooth Core Specification 1.0B through 5.2 may permit an unauthenticated nearby device to spoof the BD_ADDR of the peer device to complete pairing without knowledge of the PIN. |
| Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to version 1.6.4, Authlib’s JWS verification accepts tokens that declare unknown critical header parameters (crit), violating RFC 7515 “must‑understand” semantics. An attacker can craft a signed token with a critical header (for example, bork or cnf) that strict verifiers reject but Authlib accepts. In mixed‑language fleets, this enables split‑brain verification and can lead to policy bypass, replay, or privilege escalation. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.4. |
| The Restaurant Brands International (RBI) assistant platform through 2025-09-06 provides the functionality of returning a JWT that can be used to call an API to return a signed AWS upload URL, for any store's path. |
| The Restaurant Brands International (RBI) assistant platform through 2025-09-06 allows remote attackers to adjust Drive Thru speaker audio volume. |
| Windows Mark of the Web Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability |
| The overlayfs implementation in the linux kernel did not properly validate with respect to user namespaces the setting of file capabilities on files in an underlying file system. Due to the combination of unprivileged user namespaces along with a patch carried in the Ubuntu kernel to allow unprivileged overlay mounts, an attacker could use this to gain elevated privileges. |
