CVSS v3.1 |
| A malicious X server could cause a heap overflow by injecting a large DEVICE_ENABLE reply when processed by libXi before 1.8.4. |
| A buffer overflow when handling DEVICE_RESOLUTION in libXi before 1.8.4 could overflow a heap, triggered by a malicious X server. |
| The asynchronous Smile parser (NonBlockingByteArrayParser) uses a raw-binary length prefix taken from untrusted input to allocate a byte[] before the body is read, with no upper bound and no overflow check. On the raw-binary marker 0xFD, _decodeVInt() computes (value << 6) + (i & 0x3F) without the (value >>> 25) != 0 overflow guard present in the blocking SmileParser._readUnsignedVInt, and _startRawBinary then allocates the declared length immediately.
A Smile feed of roughly ten bytes can therefore force an eager allocation of approximately 2 GB, producing an OutOfMemoryError on reactive or asynchronous Smile endpoints. A VInt crafted to overflow int yields a negative length and a NegativeArraySizeException, a RuntimeException that is not a JacksonException and so escapes the parser contract. Either outcome crashes the request or processing thread.
This is the same class of issue as CVE-2020-28491 in the CBOR parser of this library, which was fixed with a LONGEST_NON_CHUNKED_BINARY guard; the asynchronous Smile parser never received the equivalent guard. No privileges or user interaction beyond the ability to submit data for parsing are required. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Fireware OS's WireGuard configuration processing allows a remote attacker that has man-in-the-middle TLS-decrypted access between the Firebox and WatchGuard Cloud to create a Denial of Service condition and potentially execute arbitrary code by tampering with a FireCloud Gateway configuration payload. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. Processing a maliciously crafted PDF file may lead to memory corruption. |
| ZohoCorp ManageEngine Key Manager Plus versions before 7151 were vulnerable to a Command Injection vulnerability that allowed authenticated users with certificate deployment privileges to execute arbitrary commands through specially crafted input when configuring a deployment target. |
| IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow an attacker with administrative privileges and access to the local management interface to execute arbitrary code due to an unbounded write to a fixed-size stack buffer. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. A remote attacker may be able to cause unexpected app termination or heap corruption. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, tvOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2. Processing a maliciously crafted 3D model may lead to memory corruption. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An attacker on the local network may be able to corrupt process memory. |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains a heap-based buffer overflow in the RD Gateway RPC client, where rpc_client_recv_fragment writes BIND_ACK and ALTER_CONTEXT_RESP fragments into a persistent PDU stream after checking only total capacity rather than remaining capacity from the current stream position. A malicious or compromised RD Gateway can send crafted RPC fragments with manipulated alloc_hint and frag_length values to overwrite client heap memory with attacker-controlled data, causing a crash or potentially arbitrary code execution. |
| An authenticated OS command injection vulnerability exists in the Offline Download component (USB storage allocation) of Archer AX3000 v2. When a USB storage device is attached, an authenticated administrator can submit a crafted path value containing shell metacharacters that is not properly neutralized before being passed to a system command.
Successful exploitation may allow arbitrary command execution on the affected device. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Linksys E5350 1.0.00.037. This affects the function system of the file /wizard/apply.cgi. Performing a manipulation of the argument ping_ip/traceroute_ip results in os command injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, tvOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in Linksys WRT54GL 4.30.18. The impacted element is the function system of the file apply.cgi of the component Traceroute Diagnostic Function. Such manipulation of the argument traceroute_ip leads to os command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| A weakness has been identified in Linksys WRT54GL 4.30.18. The affected element is the function system of the file apply.cgi of the component Ping Diagnostic. This manipulation of the argument ping_ip causes os command injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| An out-of-bounds write was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory. |
| An uncontrolled memory access in the WMF import code of Apache OpenOffice versions through 4.1.16 allows a crafted WMF file to cause an invalid memory access, causing program crash or memory corruption.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.1.17, which fixes this issue. |
