CVE-2026-104042 2 Redhat, Sssd 5 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 2 more 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in sssd. A local attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a crafted Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM) request containing a zero-length authentication token to the responder socket. Due to missing input validation, the service attempts to read beyond buffer boundaries when processing the token, causing the PAM responder to crash.
CVE-2026-104037 2 Redhat, Sssd 5 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 2 more 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted request with an invalid packet length to the autofs responder UNIX socket. This causes an integer underflow and an out-of-bounds memory read, which can crash the responder process and result in a denial of service (DoS).
CVE-2026-104030 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd 6 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 3 more 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in sssd. This vulnerability allows a local user to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by submitting a specially crafted passkey authentication token that lacks null terminators. The authentication service reads past the end of the provided memory buffer, causing the process to crash and disrupting authentication services.
CVE-2026-103641 2 Gegl, Redhat 3 Gegl, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GEGL. The Radiance HDR loader reads past the end of a memory-mapped image when an uncompressed scanline is shorter than the width declared in the file header. Opening a crafted HDR file crashes the application that uses the loader.
CVE-2025-4969 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
A vulnerability was found in the libsoup package. This flaw stems from its failure to correctly verify the termination of multipart HTTP messages. Processing a maliciously crafted image may result in disclosure of process memory.
CVE-2025-32914 1 Redhat 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more 2026-11-05 7.4 High
A flaw was found in libsoup, where the soup_multipart_new_from_message() function is vulnerable to an out-of-bounds read. This flaw allows a malicious HTTP client to induce the libsoup server to read out of bounds.
CVE-2026-19654 2 Redhat, Rsyslog 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 7 more 2026-11-05 7.5 High
A unauthenticated remote peer may lead rsyslogd to crash due to a flaw in the optional imptcp module. A crafted input sequence during oversize-frame recovery can cause an invalid internal message length and terminate rsyslogd. No confidentiality or integrity impact, privilege escalation, or code execution has been identified. imtcp and the default imptcp framing modes are not affected.
CVE-2025-14104 1 Redhat 8 Ceph Storage, Cert Manager, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-11-05 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in util-linux. This vulnerability allows a heap buffer overread when processing 256-byte usernames, specifically within the `setpwnam()` function, affecting SUID (Set User ID) login-utils utilities writing to the password database.

An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in Samba due to insufficient length checks in winbindd_pam_auth_crap.c. When performing NTLM authentication, the client replies to cryptographic challenges back to the server. These replies have variable lengths, and Winbind fails to check the lan manager response length. When Winbind is used for NTLM authentication, a maliciously crafted request can trigger an out-of-bounds read in Winbind, possibly resulting in a crash.
CVE-2026-119338 1 Tesseract-ocr 1 Tesseract Ocr 2026-11-05 6.6 Medium
Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. From 5.4.0 until 5.5.4, AppendLinePolygon in src/api/pagerenderer.cpp destroys the caller-owned right-to-left Pta accumulator while receiving it by value, leaving line_top_rtl_pts and line_bottom_rtl_pts dangling. On an upright Hebrew or Arabic page at the default PAGE XML level, POLYGONFLAG with a false skewed_flag enters the vulnerable calls, while LEVELFLAG greater than zero provides an alternative gate. The calls repeatedly read and free the stale object, causing a double free and use after free and allowing corrupted coordinates to reach RecalcPolygonline. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.4.
CVE-2026-99236 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Reject incomplete event filter expressions A non-empty expression normally finishes in predicate_parse()'s inner loop, which resolves the pending logical operators before jumping to finalization. If the input ends after an operator, possibly followed by unary '!' tokens, the outer loop instead falls through with unresolved operator state. For example, "common_pid == 1 || common_pid == 2 &&" leaves prog[0].target equal to -1. The second pass then reads prog[-1] before the forward-jump check can reject it. Depending on adjacent slab contents, it can also copy an out-of-bounds word into a branch target that passes the forward-only check. A self-targeted perf tracepoint counting event can reach this path through PERF_EVENT_IOC_SET_FILTER. Reject the outer-loop fallthrough when a predicate has already been parsed. This ensures that non-empty expressions only reach finalization after the inner loop has resolved their operators. Keep the existing no-filter error for input that has no predicates. Add a regression test for trailing logical operators and unary negations.
