CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in the web UI of Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to gain read and write access to information that is stored on an affected system.
This vulnerability is due to improper handling of XML External Entity (XXE) entries when the affected software parses certain XML files. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user to import a crafted XML file with malicious entries. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read and write files within the affected application.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |

| Langroid is a framework for building large-language-model-powered applications. Prior to version 0.53.4, a LLM application leveraging `XMLToolMessage` class may be exposed to untrusted XML input that could result in DoS and/or exposing local files with sensitive information. Version 0.53.4 fixes the issue. |
| A vulnerability in the implementation of the Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) feature of Cisco IOS XR Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) process to crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to the incorrect handling of a specific RPKI to Router (RTR) Protocol packet header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by compromising the RPKI validator server and sending a specifically crafted RTR packet to an affected device. Alternatively, the attacker could use man-in-the-middle techniques to impersonate the RPKI validator server and send a specifically crafted RTR response packet over the established RTR TCP connection to the affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition because the BGP process could constantly restart and BGP routing could become unstable.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. This advisory is part of the September 2021 release of the Cisco IOS XR Software Security Advisory Bundled Publication. | seeko.c in zziplib 0.13.62 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (assertion failure and crash) via a crafted ZIP file. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Fengoffice Feng Office 3.2.2.1. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /application/models/ApplicationDataObject.class.php of the component Document Upload Handler. The manipulation leads to xml external entity reference. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Rack is a modular Ruby web server interface. Prior to version 2.2.14, when using the `Rack::Session::Pool` middleware, simultaneous rack requests can restore a deleted rack session, which allows the unauthenticated user to occupy that session. Rack session middleware prepares the session at the beginning of request, then saves is back to the store with possible changes applied by host rack application. This way the session becomes to be a subject of race conditions in general sense over concurrent rack requests. When using the `Rack::Session::Pool` middleware, and provided the attacker can acquire a session cookie (already a major issue), the session may be restored if the attacker can trigger a long running request (within that same session) adjacent to the user logging out, in order to retain illicit access even after a user has attempted to logout. Version 2.2.14 contains a patch for the issue. Some other mitigations are available. Either ensure the application invalidates sessions atomically by marking them as logged out e.g., using a `logged_out` flag, instead of deleting them, and check this flag on every request to prevent reuse; or implement a custom session store that tracks session invalidation timestamps and refuses to accept session data if the session was invalidated after the request began. |
| CloudLinux CageFS 7.0.8-2 or below insufficiently restricts file paths supplied to the sendmail proxy command. This allows local users to read and write arbitrary files of certain file formats outside the CageFS environment. |
| Rapid7 InsightVM suffers from an information exposure issue whereby, when the user's session has ended due to inactivity, an attacker can use the Inspect Element browser feature to remove the login panel and view the details available in the last webpage visited by previous user |
| If an attacker comes into the possession of a victim's OctoPrint session cookie through whatever means, the attacker can use this cookie to authenticate as long as the victim's account exists. |
| Sensitive Cookie in HTTPS Session Without 'Secure' Attribute in GitHub repository ikus060/rdiffweb prior to 2.4.6. |
| An information disclosure vulnerability exists in the Windows Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc) when it improperly parses XML input containing a reference to an external entity. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could read arbitrary files via an XML external entity (XXE) declaration.
To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker could create a file containing specially crafted XML content and convince an authenticated user to import the file.
The update addresses the vulnerability by modifying the way that the Event Viewer parses XML input. |
| In Liferay Portal 7.3.0 and earlier, and Liferay DXP 7.0 before fix pack 96, 7.1 before fix pack 18, and 7.2 before fix pack 5, password reset tokens are not invalidated after a user changes their password, which allows remote attackers to change the user’s password via the old password reset token. |
| Jenkins REPO Plugin 1.15.0 and earlier does not configure its XML parser to prevent XML external entity (XXE) attacks. |
| Jenkins Compuware Topaz for Total Test Plugin 2.4.8 and earlier does not configure its XML parser to prevent XML external entity (XXE) attacks. |
| Jenkins Compuware Topaz for Total Test Plugin 2.4.8 and earlier implements an agent/controller message that does not limit where it can be executed, allowing attackers able to control agent processes to obtain the values of Java system properties from the Jenkins controller process. |
| Jenkins Compuware Source Code Download for Endevor, PDS, and ISPW Plugin 2.0.12 and earlier implements an agent/controller message that does not limit where it can be executed, allowing attackers able to control agent processes to obtain the values of Java system properties from the Jenkins controller process. |
| Adobe ColdFusion Update 5 and earlier versions, ColdFusion 11 Update 13 and earlier versions have an exploitable Unsafe XML External Entity Processing vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to information disclosure. |
| MPXJ through 8.1.3 allows XXE attacks. This affects the GanttProjectReader and PhoenixReader components. |
| In Modem 4G RRC, there is a possible system crash due to improper input validation. This could lead to remote denial of service, when concatenating improper SIB12 (CMAS message), with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY00867883; Issue ID: ALPS07274118. |
