CVE-2026-15813 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
A vulnerability was found in the network packet de-fragmentation engine of kronosnet (Version affected <= 1.34). The internal reassembly code does not properly validate sequence numbers of incoming payload fragments. An attacker can exploit this lack of verification by transmitting malformed packets with corrupted sequence parameters. Under specific conditions, this forces the packet processing layer to parse data outside the designated bounds of the internal memory structures, causing an out-of-bounds memory access or heap corruption. This behavior can result in sudden application crashes or system instability.
CVE-2025-6035 2 Gimp, Redhat 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in GIMP. An integer overflow vulnerability exists in the GIMP "Despeckle" plug-in. The issue occurs due to unchecked multiplication of image dimensions, such as width, height, and bytes-per-pixel (img_bpp), which can result in allocating insufficient memory and subsequently performing out-of-bounds writes. This issue could lead to heap corruption, a potential denial of service (DoS), or arbitrary code execution in certain scenarios.
CVE-2026-115455 3 Gcc, Red Hat, Redhat 8 Gcc, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GCC libstdc++. When an application extracts data into a bitset from a wide-character stream, internal stack memory allocation fails to properly account for character size and alignment. An attacker capable of supplying crafted input to an affected application could trigger a stack-based buffer overflow leading denial of service (DoS).
CVE-2024-34364 1 Envoyproxy 1 Envoy 2026-11-05 5.7 Medium
Envoy is a cloud-native, open source edge and service proxy. Envoy exposed an out-of-memory (OOM) vector from the mirror response, since async HTTP client will buffer the response with an unbounded buffer.
CVE-2026-100231 2 Red Hat, Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the GStreamer multimedia framework's ASF muxer plugin (asfmux). When writing string metadata tags containing Unicode characters outside the Basic Multilingual Plane (such as emoji) to an ASF container, the plugin incorrectly calculates the buffer size needed for the UTF-16LE representation. The size calculation assumes each Unicode code point requires 2 bytes, but non-BMP characters require 4 bytes (surrogate pairs). This leads to a heap out-of-bounds write when the actual UTF-16LE conversion is written into the undersized buffer. An attacker could exploit this by providing media with crafted metadata tags to an application that transcodes or remuxes to ASF format while preserving metadata, potentially causing a denial of service or limited memory corruption.
CVE-2025-7519 1 Redhat 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more 2026-11-05 6.7 Medium
A flaw was found in polkit. When processing an XML policy with 32 or more nested elements in depth, an out-of-bounds write can be triggered. This issue can lead to a crash or other unexpected behavior, and arbitrary code execution is not discarded. To exploit this flaw, a high-privilege account is needed as it's required to place the malicious policy file properly.
CVE-2026-102474 1 Redhat 1 Rhel Els 2026-11-05 4 Medium
A flaw was found in dash. The printf builtin reserves four bytes before converting a Unicode \u or \U escape, but the multi-byte token can need five or six bytes. A local user who can supply such an escape to dash printf or echo %b, including through dash -c and a positional argument, can write one or two bytes past that reservation.
CVE-2026-59268 1 Apache 1 Openoffice 2026-11-05 7.3 High
An out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in Apache OpenOffice versions through 4.1.16 could allow an attacker to craft a Microsoft Word document that would crash the program, or otherwise corrupt other memory areas. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.1.17, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-90624 1 Apache 1 Openoffice 2026-11-05 7.3 High
An unchecked memory access in the PDF import code of Apache OpenOffice versions through 4.1.16 on allows a crafted PDF to execute an out-of-bounds memory write. This could crash the program or cause memory corruption. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.1.17, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-104036 2 Redhat, Sssd 5 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 2 more 2026-11-05 5.8 Medium
A flaw was found in SSSD's NFS idmap plugin. When retrieving cached user or group names, the plugin detects if an entry exceeds the destination buffer size but fails to abort before copying data. A local attacker can trigger this vulnerability by requesting identity lookups that resolve to oversized cached entries, resulting in an out-of-bounds write. This flaw primarily leads to a Denial of Service (DoS) by crashing the identity mapping service, and may also corrupt adjacent process memory.
CVE-2026-90626 1 Apache 1 Openoffice 2026-11-05 7.3 High
An uncontrolled memory access in the PDF import code of Apache OpenOffice versions through 4.1.16 allows a crafted PDF to cause an out-of-bounds memory write, causing program crash or memory corruption. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.1.17, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2025-4877 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 4.5 Medium
There's a vulnerability in the libssh package where when a libssh consumer passes in an unexpectedly large input buffer to ssh_get_fingerprint_hash() function. In such cases the bin_to_base64() function can experience an integer overflow leading to a memory under allocation, when that happens it's possible that the program perform out of bounds write leading to a heap corruption. This issue affects only 32-bits builds of libssh.
CVE-2026-121037 2 Google, Microsoft 2 Chrome, Windows 2026-11-05 9.6 Critical
Out of bounds write in ANGLE in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2026-99258 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/hyperv: Avoid using per-cpu output page in hv_apicid_to_vp_index() hv_apicid_to_vp_index() currently uses the per-cpu hypercall input and output pages. This function is called when running in VTL2 and when running in an SEV-SNP CoCo VM with no paravisor. In the former case, the output page is allocated, but in the latter case it is not, so the hypervisor stores the output VP index in memory that has not been allocated by the guest. Fix this by using the input page for both input and output. The hypercall has very small input and output, so sharing the same page for both is straightforward. An alternative fix is to allocate the per-cpu output page when running in an SEV-SNP CoCo guest, but this uses significantly more memory, particularly with larger vCPUs counts.
CVE-2026-112563 1 Apple 3 Macos, Tvos, Visionos 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, tvOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2. Processing a maliciously crafted file may lead to unexpected app termination.
CVE-2025-1125 2 Gnu, Redhat 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-11-05 7.8 High
When reading data from a hfs filesystem, grub's hfs filesystem module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem metadata to calculate the internal buffers size, however it misses to properly check for integer overflows. A maliciouly crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculation to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result the hfsplus_open_compressed_real() function will write past of the internal buffer length. This flaw may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and may result in arbitrary code execution by-passing secure boot protections.
CVE-2025-0690 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 6.1 Medium
The read command is used to read the keyboard input from the user, while reads it keeps the input length in a 32-bit integer value which is further used to reallocate the line buffer to accept the next character. During this process, with a line big enough it's possible to make this variable to overflow leading to a out-of-bounds write in the heap based buffer. This flaw may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and secure boot bypass is not discarded as consequence.
CVE-2025-0686 2 Gnu, Redhat 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-11-05 6.4 Medium
A flaw was found in grub2. When performing a symlink lookup from a romfs filesystem, grub's romfs filesystem module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem geometry to determine the internal buffer size, however, it improperly checks for integer overflows. A maliciously crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculations to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result, the grub_romfs_read_symlink() may cause out-of-bounds writes when the calling grub_disk_read() function. This issue may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and can result in arbitrary code execution by-passing secure boot protections.
CVE-2025-0685 2 Gnu, Redhat 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-11-05 6.4 Medium
A flaw was found in grub2. When reading data from a jfs filesystem, grub's jfs filesystem module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem geometry to determine the internal buffer size, however, it improperly checks for integer overflows. A maliciouly crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculations to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result, the grub_jfs_lookup_symlink() function will write past the internal buffer length during grub_jfs_read_file(). This issue can be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and may result in arbitrary code execution, by-passing secure boot protections.
CVE-2025-0684 2 Gnu, Redhat 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-11-05 6.4 Medium
A flaw was found in grub2. When performing a symlink lookup from a reiserfs filesystem, grub's reiserfs fs module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem geometry to determine the internal buffer size, however, it improperly checks for integer overflows. A maliciouly crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculations to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result, the grub_reiserfs_read_symlink() will call grub_reiserfs_read_real() with a overflown length parameter, leading to a heap based out-of-bounds write during data reading. This flaw may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and can result in arbitrary code execution, by-passing secure boot protections.
