CVSS v3.1 |
| Sliver is a command and control framework. Prior to 1.7.6, an HTTP(S) listener using the PNG encoder accepts attacker-controlled PNG dimensions without an effective decoded-size or pixel limit in util/encoders/images.go, while the listener nonce space implemented in server/encoders/encoders.go is small enough to search remotely. An unauthenticated attacker who identifies a valid nonce can submit a highly compressed image to PNGEncoder.Decode, where it expands during png.Decode, exhausting server memory and causing a complete loss of availability. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.6. |
| The Model Context Protocol TypeScript SDK provides TypeScript client and server implementations of the Model Context Protocol. From 1.3.0 until 1.32.0 in @modelcontextprotocol/sdk and from 2.0.0 until 2.3.0 in @modelcontextprotocol/server, HTTP servers did not enforce a limit on the number of array elements and object keys validated in one request. The affected surface is validation of HTTP requests containing arrays or object keys. The trigger is an array-element or object-key validation workload large enough to exhaust memory while remaining within the request size limit. A single request within the default 4 MiB limit can terminate the process with JavaScript heap exhaustion. No credentials are required unless the application authenticates before SDK processing. Tools accepting arrays or records carry the greatest risk. stdio-only servers do not expose the HTTP request path. Upgrading alone does not enable the new validation bound. Operators must configure both a tool-input element bound and an appropriate request body size limit. This issue is fixed in @modelcontextprotocol/sdk 1.32.0 and @modelcontextprotocol/server 2.3.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfs: scrub: unlock dquot before early return in quota scrub
xchk_quota_item can return early after calling xchk_fblock_process_error.
When that helper returns false, the function returned immediately without
dropping dq->q_qlock, which can leave the dquot lock held and risk lock
leaks or deadlocks in later quota operations.
Fix this by unlocking dq->q_qlock before the early return. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Fix exception exit lock checking for subprogs
process_bpf_exit_full() passes check_lock = !curframe to
check_resource_leak(), which is false in cases when bpf_throw() is
called from a static subprog. This makes check_resource_leak() to skip
validation of active_rcu_locks, active_preempt_locks, and
active_irq_id on exception exits from subprogs.
At runtime bpf_throw() unwinds the stack via ORC without releasing any
user-acquired locks, which may cause various issues as the result.
Fix by setting check_lock = true for exception exits regardless of
curframe, since exceptions bypass all intermediate frame
cleanup. Update the error message prefix to "bpf_throw" for exception
exits to distinguish them from normal BPF_EXIT.
Fix reject_subprog_with_rcu_read_lock test which was previously
passing for the wrong reason. Test program returned directly from the
subprog call without closing the RCU section, so the error was
triggered by the unclosed RCU lock on normal exit, not by
bpf_throw. Update __msg annotations for affected tests to match the
new "bpf_throw" error prefix.
The spin_lock case is not affected because they are already checked [1]
at the call site in do_check_insn() before bpf_throw can run.

HID: magicmouse: avoid memory leak in magicmouse_report_fixup()
The magicmouse_report_fixup() function was returning a
newly kmemdup()-allocated buffer, but never freeing it.
The caller of report_fixup() does not take ownership of the returned
pointer, but it *is* permitted to return a sub-portion of the input
rdesc, whose lifetime is managed by the caller. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
HID: apple: avoid memory leak in apple_report_fixup()
The apple_report_fixup() function was returning a
newly kmemdup()-allocated buffer, but never freeing it.
The caller of report_fixup() does not take ownership of the returned
pointer, but it *is* permitted to return a sub-portion of the input
rdesc, whose lifetime is managed by the caller. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
esp: fix skb leak with espintcp and async crypto
When the TX queue for espintcp is full, esp_output_tail_tcp will
return an error and not free the skb, because with synchronous crypto,
the common xfrm output code will drop the packet for us.
With async crypto (esp_output_done), we need to drop the skb when
esp_output_tail_tcp returns an error. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix ERTM re-init and zero pdu_len infinite loop
l2cap_config_req() processes CONFIG_REQ for channels in BT_CONNECTED
state to support L2CAP reconfiguration (e.g. MTU changes). However,
since both CONF_INPUT_DONE and CONF_OUTPUT_DONE are already set from
the initial configuration, the reconfiguration path falls through to
l2cap_ertm_init(), which re-initializes tx_q, srej_q, srej_list, and
retrans_list without freeing the previous allocations and sets
chan->sdu to NULL without freeing the existing skb. This leaks all
previously allocated ERTM resources.
Additionally, l2cap_parse_conf_req() does not validate the minimum
value of remote_mps derived from the RFC max_pdu_size option. A zero
value propagates to l2cap_segment_sdu() where pdu_len becomes zero,
causing the while loop to never terminate since len is never
decremented, exhausting all available memory.
Fix the double-init by skipping l2cap_ertm_init() and
l2cap_chan_ready() when the channel is already in BT_CONNECTED state,
while still allowing the reconfiguration parameters to be updated
through l2cap_parse_conf_req(). Also add a pdu_len zero check in
l2cap_segment_sdu() as a safeguard. |

drm/amd/display: Fix drm_edid leak in amdgpu_dm
[WHAT]
When a sink is connected, aconnector->drm_edid was overwritten without
freeing the previous allocation, causing a memory leak on resume.
[HOW]
Free the previous drm_edid before updating it.

dmaengine: idxd: Fix memory leak when a wq is reset
idxd_wq_disable_cleanup() which is called from the reset path for a
workqueue, sets the wq type to NONE, which for other parts of the
driver mean that the wq is empty (all its resources were released).
Only set the wq type to NONE after its resources are released. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: Limit BO list entry count to prevent resource exhaustion
Userspace can pass an arbitrary number of BO list entries via the
bo_number field. Although the previous multiplication overflow check
prevents out-of-bounds allocation, a large number of entries could still
cause excessive memory allocation (up to potentially gigabytes) and
unnecessarily long list processing times.
Introduce a hard limit of 128k entries per BO list, which is more than
sufficient for any realistic use case (e.g., a single list containing all
buffers in a large scene). This prevents memory exhaustion attacks and
ensures predictable performance.
Return -EINVAL if the requested entry count exceeds the limit

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe/configfs: Free ctx_restore_mid_bb in release
ctx_restore_mid_bb memory is allocated in wa_bb_store(), but
xe_config_device_release() only frees ctx_restore_post_bb.
Free ctx_restore_mid_bb[0].cs as well to avoid leaking the allocation
when the configfs device is removed.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: purge error queues in socket destructors
When TX timestamping is enabled via SO_TIMESTAMPING, SKBs may be queued
into sk_error_queue and will stay there until consumed. If userspace never
gets to read the timestamps, or if the controller is removed unexpectedly,
these SKBs will leak.
Fix by adding skb_queue_purge() calls for sk_error_queue in affected
bluetooth destructors. RFCOMM does not currently use sk_error_queue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nfsd: Fix cred ref leak in nfsd_nl_threads_set_doit().
syzbot reported memory leak of struct cred. [0]
nfsd_nl_threads_set_doit() passes get_current_cred() to
nfsd_svc(), but put_cred() is not called after that.
The cred is finally passed down to _svc_xprt_create(),
which calls get_cred() with the cred for struct svc_xprt.
The ownership of the refcount by get_current_cred() is not
transferred to anywhere and is just leaked.
nfsd_svc() is also called from write_threads(), but it does
not bump file->f_cred there.
nfsd_nl_threads_set_doit() is called from sendmsg() and
current->cred does not go away.
Let's use current_cred() in nfsd_nl_threads_set_doit().

IB/mthca: Add missed mthca_unmap_user_db() for mthca_create_srq()
Fix a user triggerable leak on the system call failure path. |
| A vulnerability was found in WAVLINK WN551X3-A M51X3_V251020-WO-182e965. This impacts the function sub_41a430 of the file /bin/ioos of the component DNS Resolution Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument data results in os command injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| P-Net before 1.0.3 does not release the RPC session allocated for an RPC request that names an unknown interface or object UUID, and does not start a timeout for it. Repeated requests with different activity UUIDs exhaust the available sessions. Once they are exhausted the device no longer answers new RPC requests, including Endpoint Mapper Lookup and Connect, until it is restarted. A remote unauthenticated attacker can use this to cause a denial of service. |
| P-Net before 1.0.3 does not release the Application Relationship (AR) and the RPC session when an RPC request is rejected because its data representation has incorrect endianness. The session and its AR remain allocated, so repeated requests exhaust the available sessions. Once they are exhausted the device no longer answers new RPC requests, including Connect, until it is restarted. A remote unauthenticated attacker can use this to cause a denial of service. |
