Use READ_ONCE_NOCHECK() helper to silence the KASAN check for this case. [will: Use '*addr' as the argument to READ_ONCE_NOCHECK()]
CVE-2025-38249 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Fix out-of-bounds read in snd_usb_get_audioformat_uac3() In snd_usb_get_audioformat_uac3(), the length value returned from snd_usb_ctl_msg() is used directly for memory allocation without validation. This length is controlled by the USB device. The allocated buffer is cast to a uac3_cluster_header_descriptor and its fields are accessed without verifying that the buffer is large enough. If the device returns a smaller than expected length, this leads to an out-of-bounds read. Add a length check to ensure the buffer is large enough for uac3_cluster_header_descriptor.
CVE-2025-38159 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtw88: fix the 'para' buffer size to avoid reading out of bounds Set the size to 6 instead of 2, since 'para' array is passed to 'rtw_fw_bt_wifi_control(rtwdev, para[0], &para[1])', which reads 5 bytes: void rtw_fw_bt_wifi_control(struct rtw_dev *rtwdev, u8 op_code, u8 *data) { ... SET_BT_WIFI_CONTROL_DATA1(h2c_pkt, *data); SET_BT_WIFI_CONTROL_DATA2(h2c_pkt, *(data + 1)); ... SET_BT_WIFI_CONTROL_DATA5(h2c_pkt, *(data + 4)); Detected using the static analysis tool - Svace.
CVE-2025-38103 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: usbhid: Eliminate recurrent out-of-bounds bug in usbhid_parse() Update struct hid_descriptor to better reflect the mandatory and optional parts of the HID Descriptor as per USB HID 1.11 specification. Note: the kernel currently does not parse any optional HID class descriptors, only the mandatory report descriptor. Update all references to member element desc[0] to rpt_desc. Add test to verify bLength and bNumDescriptors values are valid. Replace the for loop with direct access to the mandatory HID class descriptor member for the report descriptor. This eliminates the possibility of getting an out-of-bounds fault. Add a warning message if the HID descriptor contains any unsupported optional HID class descriptors.
CVE-2025-37846 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: mops: Do not dereference src reg for a set operation The source register is not used for SET* and reading it can result in a UBSAN out-of-bounds array access error, specifically when the MOPS exception is taken from a SET* sequence with XZR (reg 31) as the source. Architecturally this is the only case where a src/dst/size field in the ESR can be reported as 31. Prior to 2de451a329cf662b the code in do_el0_mops() was benign as the use of pt_regs_read_reg() prevented the out-of-bounds access.

Then when reducing the ringbuffer, and if some reduced pages exist dirty 'entries' data, they will be added into 'cpu_buffer->overrun' (see rb_remove_pages()), which cause wrong 'overrun' count and eventually cause the deadloop issue. To fix it, we need to clear every pages in rb_reset_cpu().

CVE-2022-50551 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: Fix potential shift-out-of-bounds in brcmf_fw_alloc_request() This patch fixes a shift-out-of-bounds in brcmfmac that occurs in BIT(chiprev) when a 'chiprev' provided by the device is too large. It should also not be equal to or greater than BITS_PER_TYPE(u32) as we do bitwise AND with a u32 variable and BIT(chiprev). The patch adds a check that makes the function return NULL if that is the case. Note that the NULL case is later handled by the bus-specific caller, brcmf_usb_probe_cb() or brcmf_usb_reset_resume(), for example. Found by a modified version of syzkaller. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binfmt_misc: fix shift-out-of-bounds in check_special_flags UBSAN reported a shift-out-of-bounds warning: left shift of 1 by 31 places cannot be represented in type 'int' Call Trace: <TASK> __dump_stack lib/dump_stack.c:88 [inline] dump_stack_lvl+0x8d/0xcf lib/dump_stack.c:106 ubsan_epilogue+0xa/0x44 lib/ubsan.c:151 __ubsan_handle_shift_out_of_bounds+0x1e7/0x208 lib/ubsan.c:322 check_special_flags fs/binfmt_misc.c:241 [inline] create_entry fs/binfmt_misc.c:456 [inline] bm_register_write+0x9d3/0xa20 fs/binfmt_misc.c:654 vfs_write+0x11e/0x580 fs/read_write.c:582 ksys_write+0xcf/0x120 fs/read_write.c:637 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/common.c:50 [inline] do_syscall_64+0x34/0x80 arch/x86/entry/common.c:80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x63/0xcd RIP: 0033:0x4194e1 Since the type of Node's flags is unsigned long, we should define these macros with same type too.
CVE-2026-4647 2 Gnu, Redhat 6 Binutils, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 3 more 2026-11-05 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the GNU Binutils BFD library, a widely used component for handling binary files such as object files and executables. The issue occurs when processing specially crafted XCOFF object files, where a relocation type value is not properly validated before being used. This can cause the program to read memory outside of intended bounds. As a result, affected tools may crash or expose unintended memory contents, leading to denial-of-service or limited information disclosure risks.
CVE-2026-116780 1 Signalwire 1 Freeswitch 2026-11-05 2.7 Low
FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. Prior to 1.11.2, switch_event_expand_headers_check() advanced beyond its heap copy when a positive offset in ${variable:offset} exceeded the variable value's length. The following length calculation and copy appended adjacent heap memory to the expansion result, potentially exposing channel variables, credentials, allocator data, and pointer bytes. The flaw is reachable through configuration templates that slice remote input and through authenticated Event Socket eval or Event Socket expand commands; the separate channel-variable expander used by ordinary dialplan slicing is unaffected. The requester cannot choose adjacent memory and disclosure stops at a zero byte, but repeated expansion can influence the layout. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.2.
CVE-2026-4367 2 Libxpm Projet, Redhat 5 Libxpm, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in libXpm. A local user with low privileges could exploit an Out-of-Bounds Read vulnerability in the `xpmNextWord()` function by processing a specially crafted or very small XPM (X PixMap) image file. This improper validation of file boundaries can cause an internal pointer to read beyond the file's end, leading to application crashes and Denial of Service conditions.
CVE-2026-0035 1 Google 1 Android 2026-11-05 8.4 High
In createRequest of MediaProvider.java, there is a possible way for an app to gain read/write access to non-existing files due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2026-34000 2 Redhat, X.org 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 7 more 2026-11-05 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the X.Org X server. This out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the XKB geometry processing, specifically within the `CheckSetGeom()` and `XkbAddGeomKeyAlias` functions, allows an attacker to read uninitialized or out-of-bounds memory. An attacker with a connection to the X11 server, either locally or remotely, can exploit this without user interaction. This could lead to the disclosure of memory contents or cause a denial of service by crashing the server.
CVE-2026-3442 2 Gnu, Redhat 6 Binutils, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 3 more 2026-11-05 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in GNU Binutils. This vulnerability, a heap-based buffer overflow, specifically an out-of-bounds read, exists in the bfd linker component. An attacker could exploit this by convincing a user to process a specially crafted malicious XCOFF object file. Successful exploitation may lead to the disclosure of sensitive information or cause the application to crash, resulting in an application level denial of service.
CVE-2026-3441 2 Gnu, Redhat 6 Binutils, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 3 more 2026-11-05 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in GNU Binutils. This heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability, specifically an out-of-bounds read in the bfd linker, allows an attacker to gain access to sensitive information. By convincing a user to process a specially crafted XCOFF object file, an attacker can trigger this flaw, potentially leading to information disclosure or an application level denial of service.
