CVSS v3.1 |
| Tanium addressed a business logic error in Threat Response. |
| CallBackery versions before 0.62.0 for Perl accept unintended values in form fields checked by createRxValidator.
createRxValidator() is documented to anchor the supplied pattern at both ends, but builds /^${rx}$/ without grouping the pattern. An alternation such as yes|no then accepts any value starting with yes or ending with no, and $ also accepts a value with one trailing newline.
An authenticated user can submit values the pattern was meant to reject, which an application may then write into generated configuration files. |
| HTTP::Parser::XS versions before 0.18 for Perl truncate PATH_INFO at an encoded NUL byte in parse_http_request.
The XS parser URL-decodes the request path and measures the result with strlen(), so PATH_INFO ends at the first byte decoded from %00. The pure-Perl backend is not affected.
A remote attacker can send a path that a proxy or filter checks in full while the application routes on a shorter one. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: videobuf2: Set vma_flags in vb2_dma_sg_mmap
vb2_dma_contig sets VMA flags VM_DONTEXPAND and VM_DONTDUMP and I do not
see a reason why vb2_dma_sg should behave differently. This avoids
hitting `WARN_ON(!(vma->vm_flags & VM_DONTEXPAND));` in
drm_gem_mmap_obj() during mmap() of an imported dma-buf from the out of
tree Apple ISP camera capture driver which uses vb2_dma_sg_memops.

| Wails is a framework for building desktop applications using Go and web technologies. From 2.0.0 until 2.13.0, BindingsAllowedOrigins in v2/internal/frontend/originvalidator/originValidator.go passes wildcard patterns to wildcardPatternToRegex, which expands every asterisk to an unrestricted regular-expression match. When an application configures a trailing or partial-label wildcard immediately after an allowed domain, an attacker-controlled lookalike origin can match the allowed suffix and invoke bound Go methods through IPC. A complete-component subdomain wildcard is an unaffected configuration. The resulting confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact depends on the file, database, command, credential, or other operations exposed by the application's bound methods. This issue is fixed in version 2.13.0. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: sch_red: Replace direct dequeue call with peek and qdisc_dequeue_peeked
When red qdisc has children (eg qfq qdisc) whose peek() callback is
qdisc_peek_dequeued(), we could get a kernel panic. When the parent of such
qdiscs (eg illustrated in patch #3 as tbf) wants to retrieve an skb from
its child (red in this case), it will do the following:
1a. do a peek() - and when sensing there's an skb the child can offer, then
- the child in this case(red) calls its child's (qfq) peek.
qfq does the right thing and will return the gso_skb queue packet.
Note: if there wasnt a gso_skb entry then qfq will store it there.
1b. invoke a dequeue() on the child (red). And herein lies the problem.
- red will call the child's dequeue() which will essentially just
try to grab something of qfq's queue.

The right thing to do in #1b is to grab the skb off gso_skb queue.
This patchset fixes that issue by changing #1b to use qdisc_dequeue_peeked()
method instead. |
| vtenext 25.02 before 25.02.1 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to change any account password via hub/rpwd.php without token verification. Attackers knowing a valid user_name can send action=change_password to RecoverPwd::displayChangePwd() and log in as administrators lacking two-factor authentication. |
| On Debian, Ubuntu, and derivative Linux distributions, an on-path attacker who can manipulate the HTTP traffic (including a malicious mirror or proxy) between an APT client and an archive server triggered by a package install can trick the client into installing an attacker-controlled unverified package and achieve remote code execution with root privileges.
The vulnerability is caused by the reuse of hard links and requires the client to follow redirects and retry the download of package files. It requires the client to have a non-zero Acquire::Retries configuration setting; the value 3 is the default starting with Debian 12 (bookworm) and Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish), so older releases are unaffected in a default configuration |
| Linksys WAG200G through 1.01.06 contains a weak password change mechanism that allows attackers to change the administrator password without supplying the current password. Attackers with access to an authenticated administrator browser session can set a new password to lock out the legitimate administrator and take persistent device control. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
LoongArch: Move jump_label_init() before parse_early_param()
When enabling both CONFIG_MEM_ALLOC_PROFILING=y and
CONFIG_MEM_ALLOC_PROFILING_ENABLED_BY_DEFAULT=y, then diabling memory
profiling by adding the boot parameter 'sysctl.vm.mem_profiling=0' will
cause the kernel failed to boot.
After analysis, this is because jump_label_init() must be called before
parse_early_param(), the early param handlers may modify static keys by
static_branch_enable/disable().
Fix this by moving jump_label_init() to before parse_early_param(). The
solution is similar to other architectures. |
| MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the GRANT PROXY statement treats an IDENTIFIED clause with an empty password as though authentication were not specified, causing it to check the wrong grantor privileges. A low-privileged attacker who can name another account can exploit this authorization error to set that account's password. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: nl80211: check link is beaconing for color change
When trying to do a color change, validate that the link is
beaconing first, to avoid calling the driver with an invalid
link. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
platform/x86: ISST: Restore SST-PP control to all domains
The SST-PP control offset is only restored to power domain 0 after
resume. During suspend, control values are read and stored for all
power domains.
Use pd_info->sst_base instead of power_domain_info->sst_base, which
only points to power domain 0 base address. |
| ext/misc/zipfile.c in SQLite 3.30.1 mishandles certain uses of INSERT INTO in situations involving embedded '\0' characters in filenames, leading to a memory-management error that can be detected by (for example) valgrind. |
| An issue was discovered in Lantronix EDS3000PS 3.1.0.0R2. The host parameter of the TFTP client in the Filesystem Browser page is not properly sanitized. This can be exploited to escape from the original command and execute an arbitrary one with root privileges. |
| The administrator password can be changed without knowledge of the current password. When chained with an authentication bypass vulnerability, this issue may allow unauthenticated attackers to modify the administrator password. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_conncount: fix zone comparison in tuple dedup
The "already exists" dedup logic in __nf_conncount_add() decides
whether a connection has already been counted and can be skipped instead
of incrementing the connlimit count. It compares the conntrack zone of a
list entry with the zone of the connection being added using
nf_ct_zone_id() and nf_ct_zone_equal(), passing conn->zone.dir or
zone->dir as the direction argument.
Those helpers take enum ip_conntrack_dir values: IP_CT_DIR_ORIGINAL is 0
and IP_CT_DIR_REPLY is 1. However, zone->dir is a u8 bitmask:
NF_CT_ZONE_DIR_ORIG is 1, NF_CT_ZONE_DIR_REPL is 2 and
NF_CT_DEFAULT_ZONE_DIR is 3. Passing that bitmask as the enum direction
shifts the meaning of every non-zero value. An ORIG-only zone passes 1
and is tested as REPLY, while REPL-only and default zones pass 2 or 3 and
test bits beyond the valid direction range. In those cases
nf_ct_zone_id() can fall back to NF_CT_DEFAULT_ZONE_ID instead of using
the real zone id, so different zones can be treated as equal and dedup
collapses to tuple equality alone.
nf_conncount stores and compares the original-direction tuple for a
connection. If an skb already has an attached conntrack entry,
get_ct_or_tuple_from_skb() explicitly copies
ct->tuplehash[IP_CT_DIR_ORIGINAL].tuple, regardless of the packet's
ctinfo. Therefore the zone comparison in the tuple dedup path must use
IP_CT_DIR_ORIGINAL as well; the zone direction bitmask describes where a
zone id applies, not which direction this conncount tuple represents.
Fix the two dedup comparisons by passing IP_CT_DIR_ORIGINAL directly.
Do not special-case NF_CT_DEFAULT_ZONE_DIR and do not compare raw zone
ids: using the existing helpers with IP_CT_DIR_ORIGINAL preserves the
direction-aware NF_CT_DEFAULT_ZONE_ID fallback. A default bidirectional
zone contains the ORIG bit, so it naturally returns the real zone id;
reply-only zones continue to fall back for original-direction tuple
comparisons. |
| KDE KSSL in kdelibs 3.5.4, 4.2.4, and 4.3 does not properly handle a '\0' character in a domain name in the Subject Alternative Name field of an X.509 certificate, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof arbitrary SSL servers via a crafted certificate issued by a legitimate Certification Authority, a related issue to CVE-2009-2408. |
| The fuse_ioctl_copy_user function in the ioctl handler in fs/fuse/file.c in the Linux kernel 2.6.29-rc1 through 2.6.30.y uses the wrong variable in an argument to the kunmap function, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (panic) via unknown vectors. |
