CVSS v3.1 |
| An Open Redirect vulnerability has been identified in OpenText™ Universal Discovery and CMDB. The vulnerability can be exploited only if an attacker sends a specially crafted URL containing a link to a malicious resource and a user subsequently follows that link.
Affected systems:
This issue affects only the classic deployment options for UCMDB UI (ucmdb-browser) component within Universal Discovery and CMDB and Operations Bridge Manager. Containerized deployment options are not affected. |
| A vulnerability in OpenText OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) allows Black Box Reverse Engineering.
This issue affects OpenText Directory Services (OTDS): from 22.1 to 26.2 |
| Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') vulnerability in OpenText OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) on Windows and Linux allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).
This issue affects OpenText Directory Services (OTDS): from 25.1 through 26.2. |
| A vulnerability in OpenText OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) on Windows and Linux allows Clickjacking.
This issue affects OpenText Directory Services (OTDS): from 10.5 through 26.2. |
| Acceptance of extraneous untrusted data with trusted data vulnerability in OpenText Advanced Authentication Server allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs.
This issue affects Advanced Authentication Server: from 6.4.0.0 through 6.4.3.8, from 6.5.0.0 through 6.5.0.10, and from 6.6.0.0 through 6.6.1.0. |
| Initialization of a resource with an insecure default vulnerability in OpenText Advanced Authentication Server allows Excessive Allocation.
This issue affects Advanced Authentication Server: from 6.4.0.0 through 6.4.3.x, from 6.5.0.0 through 6.5.0.x, and from 6.6.0.0 through 6.6.1.0.
The fix for this is issue is to create a secure configuration. The 6.6.2.0 release has a best practice entry if the configuration is unsecure.
A secure configuration is to NOT allow creation/recreation of Unauthenticated Endpoints. If creation/recreation of Unauthenticated Endpoints is required, you should only allow it from trusted networks.
To remedy this issue, change your configuration to NOT allow creation/recreation of Unauthenticated Endpoints. If you require Unauthenticated Endpoints, you MUST change your configuration to use a non-empty whitelist to specify the trusted networks. An empty whitelist will allow all networks to create/recreate endpoints. |
| Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Livelink ECM 9.0.0 through 9.7.0 and possibly earlier does not set the charset, which allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via UTF-7 encoded input. |
| FirstClass Desktop Client 7.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via hyperlinks in FirstClass RTF messages. |
| The HTTP daemon in OpenText FirstClass 7.1 and 8.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (service availability loss) via a large number of POST requests to /Search. |
| Insufficiently Protected Credentials vulnerability in OpenText™ AccuRev allows Authentication Bypass. When installed on a Linux or Solaris system
the vulnerability could allow anyone who knows a valid AccuRev username can use the AccuRev client to login and gain access to AccuRev source control without knowing the user’s password.
This issue affects AccuRev: 2017.1. |
| Centrinity First Class Internet Services 5.50 allows for the circumventing of the default 'spam' filters via the presence of '<@>' in the 'From:' field, which allows remote attackers to send spoofed email with the identity of local users. |
| Centrinity FirstClass 8.3 and earlier, and Server and Internet Services 8.0 and earlier, do not properly handle a URL with a null ("%00") character, which allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. NOTE: the provenance of this information is unknown; the details are obtained solely from third party information. |
| A Remote Gain Privileged Access vulnerability in HPE Vertica Analytics Platform version v4.1 and later was found. |
| The validateAdminConfig handler in the Analytics Management Console in HPE Vertica 7.0.x before 7.0.2.12, 7.1.x before 7.1.2-12, and 7.2.x before 7.2.2-1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the mcPort parameter, aka ZDI-CAN-3417. |
| The vertica-udx-zygote process in HP Vertica 7.1.1 UDx does not require authentication, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted packet, aka ZDI-CAN-2914. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in OpenText NetIQ Privileged Account Manager on Linux, Windows, 64 bit allows Flooding. This issue affects NetIQ Privileged Account Manager: before 3.7.0.2.

| OpenText Document Sciences xPression (formerly EMC Document Sciences xPression) v4.5SP1 Patch 13 (older versions might be affected as well) is prone to Cross-Site Scripting: /xAdmin/html/Deployment (cat_id). |
| OpenText Documentum Content Server (formerly EMC Documentum Content Server) through 7.3 does not properly validate the input of the PUT_FILE RPC-command, which allows any authenticated user to hijack an arbitrary file from the Content Server filesystem; because some files on the Content Server filesystem are security-sensitive, this leads to privilege escalation. |
| OpenText Documentum Content Server (formerly EMC Documentum Content Server) through 7.3 contains the following design gap, which allows an authenticated user to gain superuser privileges: Content Server stores information about uploaded files in dmr_content objects, which are queryable and "editable" (before release 7.2P02, any authenticated user was able to edit dmr_content objects; now any authenticated user may delete a dmr_content object and then create a new one with the old identifier) by authenticated users; this allows any authenticated user to replace the content of security-sensitive dmr_content objects (for example, dmr_content related to dm_method objects) and gain superuser privileges. |
| OpenText Document Sciences xPression (formerly EMC Document Sciences xPression) v4.5SP1 Patch 13 (older versions might be affected as well) is prone to SQL Injection: /xDashboard/html/jobhistory/downloadSupportFile.action, parameter: jobRunId. In order for this vulnerability to be exploited, an attacker must authenticate to the application first. |
